Patch byte 0x6564 with a hex editor (e.g. Ultraedit) from 00 to 01 and you have a registered version. :)

I used no disassembler. I just found that some keys are stored in the registry holding date-timestamp etc. I did a few tests to see how the pprogram behaves when I did some manual changes in the registry and finally I discover, RightMenu is creating this reg-key everytime it's missing in the registry (like it was installed for the first time). So you can remove this reg-key manually, but i want to do that automaticall. Thus I wrote small application in C# (VS .NET 2003) which simply removes the reg-key when it runs and closes itselfs. That's the trick ;)

Of course this principle cannot be generalized - it depends on given application, how the "security" is made - :mad:

This small app allows you to turn on the flashlight of MPx220 and stay on until you switch it off! Unfortunately it's only in Russian, however, it's very very simple. Once you run it, the right softkey turns it on and the left closes the application (and turns the flash off). Try it for video capturing also, it seems to make a little difference.

Moreover, I changed the registry so that when I press Volume Up button, istead of Voice signal, it launches this application, and now I can have a small torch in my pocket, easy-to use. Just unlock fully your registry (or use Rapiconfig) and change the following key to the location of the FlashLight.exe in your phone:

Here is a simple way to patch Right Menu 1.5:

Patch byte 0x6564 with a hex editor (e.g. Ultraedit) from 00 to 01 and you have a registered version. :)

Oh im sorry, what i did for rightmenu is change the 0x6564 using hexedit and it worked. Then i tried it on Infosharp but didnt.

I still prefer the manual way of backing up my smartphone. Copy all your programs/installers into the storage card, backup contacts to MS Outlook.. etc. Unless anyone here can recommend good apps for backing-up.
