I try to write full flash on cx70 with bad imei and got this error. After read on forum make a patch for imei repair and when try to vrite got sam error. What this mean and what can i do?

try to read info and post flash id info
probably a damaged flash IC

Hi.
I have same problem "I/O error..." with Siemens CXT70 writing flash.
Reading flash funktion is OK. Flash reading complete. And writing no !
SST software reading flash info: Flash Chip : F004E51F (Fujitsu), also
Fyz. flash chip in foone is AMD !
Please solution.

you last one 7.02 betta if you still have problem , use 6.86 you can unlock it

Hey people , i have that problems that on 2 phones when i read info about phones it write toshiba and error 998 , that phones are c65 and cx65 , it is not problem with flash IC im shure 100 % it is something alse .
It is not flashing with toshiba flash , maybe SST kill that phones it is only logical explenation .
We are waiting for solution !!!

As described before this error indicates either damaged flash IC or bad flash file or file with read only attributes.
Sometimes flash chip problem is visible when you press "read info" button and it gives an invalid information.
