unlocking MT50

Dear All

I have been trying to unlock my siemens MT50 using unlocker for M50/ MT50 (2002 Maxim).
However I keep getting massage 'The data is invalid' (btw, I am using serial cable on WinXP if it means something).
I do not know anything about it. Can someone please recommend me other unlcoker and/or tell me excatly how to do it: with SIM card inside or not etc.

Go to www.unlockeasy.com dowanload FREIA and unlock. All will be ok Sim Card can be in phone:)

Right, use freia and all is ok!

Set BootType at configuration to normal.

BTW: Maxims unlocker is only for Win 9x

THanky you both for the promt replay. But still not working. I have downoloaded freia build 10 (see details below). However, after strating it, setting phone mbile to siemens MT50, chosing option 'drect unlock also saves map' and setting some arbitrary IME (if necessary at all). I keep getting mesaage like 'phone is not powered on'. I have tested cable with sim card (provider) that does work with mobile using few other softwares just to simply control the mobile and download the messages etc. and it all works. Thus, I think the cable is just fine. Unless it has to be somekind of special unlocking cable???

Anthoer fact perhaps worth of mentioning is that my serial cable is originally both for C35. Maybe that's a problem why I keep getting message 'phone is not powered on'. However since the cable with my MT50 worked with softwares such as 'Siemens Mobile Control', 'Mobile Master' etc. I guess why it should not work with unlockin software too. Should I try to use unlocking for C35???

Cable for C35 MT50 is same. When you have message in FREIA 'phone is not powered' press short time switch on/off in phone:)

Your problem is that your cable is anm original one!

Unlock works only with NoName cables and modified original ones! (use search)

And why do you open a 2nd Thread! Totaly nonsense!!
