HWK Discount ?

Hi

When Setool came out a long time ago twisterteam endorced the product and said that anyone that would like to unlock SEMC phones should buy this tool..

This means that alot of people bought SETool because of this, because it was a good indicator that the twisterbox would not in the forseeable future have support for this platform.

Would it not be fair then that people that have allready spent money on SETool and thus does not actually need this part of the software would be getting a discount in the price.

I think this would be fair as it was twisterteam themselves that promoted the sales of SETool.

Would be nice if people with a SETool license would get a discount, if not i guess that noone will buy it ...(Who would pay 200 USD only for BB5 flashing.....Which is not even supported yet..)

Ok ok ! Now here is a quetion ! I dont have se tool and I waited for ufs team to invent something new ! So I am a loyal customer coz I didnt opt for anything else then ufs products ! So I think I am very much eligiable for huge discounts !

It's just another skin from the dead fox. Setool isn't Saras soft product thats why they don't care if you bought it. It's your problem. Money is the only thing that matters. Wait for 3 months and you'll see if there is any interesting thing in HWK. If not price will be less than $200...

Ok if we look at the price for the HWK, it is 3 USD raw price according to Raskal..

So the 197 USD is software, profit for resellers and transporation fee..

Most part of the price is software, so yes i would want HWK but NO i dont need support for SE phones, and as they suggested that people should buy SETool now people with SETool dont need the modules for SE, LG & Sharp..

So what i need is HWK to unlock the Samsung phones and perhaps future BB5 flashing support.. I dont need nor want the other software module features...

That is why they should sell the HWK at a discount for people that does not need those modules..

If they dont, then people with SETool wont buy it.. (Better to them to make a little money than no money, because if i DONT buy then i dont contribute to software development, but if i do buy at a reduced price they will get some money)..

But having the SETool gives me one advantage, i can wait and see if the HWK is going to be worth buying....If not i dont have to buy as every feature that HWK enable can be done with SETool (Except D500 flashing but that can also be enabled on Twister without the HWK)..

I guess that in a few months we will see what happens, and i guess that one of these options will be the one..

1. Saras does not release anything of interest, hwk price will drop..
2. Saras does release something interesting, depending on what i might buy
3. HWK gets hacked and i might buy one of those at a reduced price..

Only time will tell what will happen..

I don't wanna argue with you but you forgot something: You were the one who complained against SEtool2 and it's price. And please try to deactivate the Acer feature of my twister because I don't need it. I've never used it. So one piece of Twister Acer feature is for sale! I guess I should complain to Raskal that I never used it and I dont want it...

Yes i was arguing about that because at that time we were told that the HWK release was imminent and the HWK would be sold at a much lower price than SETool..

None of those statements were true and finally i got fed up waiting for the never appearing HWK ...

Honestly, i dont need the HWK and unless they add something really good they have not mentioned yet i will never buy it at the price they ask for it. If the price drops or if they add VALUE features i might buy it ...

Regarding moto feature.. The small amount of phones supported is in no way comparable to the number of current phones SETool / HWK support. When the twisterflasher was released the moto hones supported was allready obsolete. AND you were not "tricked" into buying another tool under false pretents..

One way or the other they are never happy.

- Twisterteam means first of all porky raskal --> you want discount because of his honest recomandations (check the link on top ) -> then go and ask him.
He is just now chasing his own tail and selling everything cheap cheap --> JAF price just fuked up at 99Euro with BB5 included (Congratulation to the people that have just spent 100Euro for buying the BB5 activation from him before).

So, now everybody knows: JAF price with BB5 support = 99Euro !!!
Who payed more, should say thx to porky raskal.

He will sell you also some super duper cheap S-Ericsson software with 1 month support too... enjoy..

- We try to bring up a reliable and profesional solution for: Nokia, S-Ericsson, Samsung (go to Samsung website and check how many NEW models are out, before talking about D500 only).
This take time, a lot of WORK, and 200$ is not expemsive at all for that.
Work means making software , testing, providing support and support server etc, etc...

And if somebody can understand this, he will buy.\
Other people that are not understanding this --> don't buy and shut up !
