Phone not in this list?
If you phone is not in the list of known phones, either supported or unsupported , then you can download a test that will try install a java game on to your phone. This program is free to download and available here (vC) (http://ryan.unf.net/GThingTest.zip)
How it works
First, select the com port to connect on. This is two less than the one you use in LG Phone manager if you are using USB. If you are using Ir it is the same port. Click connect once you have selected the correct port.
Once connected you can click on the Audio, Image, Video, and Java icons to view their files. Viewing java files is slow and will have a short delay while the program waits for the phone to respond.
Files are uploaded by dragging them on to the application when the correct icon is selected. This works for Audio, Image, and Video files. Java and Custom files require some care.
Java applications are installed by dragging a single .jar file onto the application while the java list is shown. Only one application may be installed at once. Dragging multiple .jar files at once will result in an error.
If required, custom manifest and jad files can also be installed with each game by dragging the jad file and MANIFEST.MF along with the .jar file
If you wish to overwrite an installed application with another, simply drag the application on top of the one you wish to overwrite. Replacing existing application is required if you wish to have RMS support. RMS support is usually used to keep high scores, progress, user settings, and so on. I suggest you download an application from your service provider and overwrite it to get RMS working.
