I am trying to figure if a x100 panasonic with a blank screen in camera can be fix by software or hardware solution.

Hello,
Try to flash with different firwares (MAIN+LP+Fles together).
Try ver. 1.2.01 and 1.2.07. If it will be no changes after both flashes, then it's a big chance that it's HW problem.
