Hello, I unlocked LG U8120, When I inserted Simcard, I have NO NETWORK, can anybody tell me what network work for this model? 1900mhz ?
In Nicaragua we uses 1900mhz Enitel/ALO

Thanks for your reply, but this is not the answer I was as expecting, I means is there a way to switch this phone to 1900mhz or this just 3G?
And not so long, Movistar announced 3G Network for Nicaragua very soon.

Have you unlocked this phone B4 using setool3 ?
I have Vygis, and Setool3, and the only time I got a no network 8120 after unlock, I did with setool3, bcos I was also flashing another phone on Vygis (which I prefer)
Tell me if you have successfully unlocked 8120 before this time, and got network with setool3.
I equally did flash and code 00000666.
But even after flashing SSW and BIF files with Vygis, phone still no network

Yes, I unlocked this phone before with Setool3, but not network.
Not network, because of the band, this phone is 3g Network. Not 1900mhz network.

Then there must be a fault with setool3 and 8120.
I have unlocked many 8120 with Vygis, and never got NO Network.
But you have confirmed that setool3 has given you NO Network on more than one 8120.
No more setool3 for LG for me
The phone work w/o problems also on normal 2g, but 900/1800 mhz

this is no bull****
i have two lg 8120 after i flash new firmware it only has network signal when i put a 3G sim card inside.
so it is a software problem:

I didnt mean to hurt you, its just I am putting 1 & 1 together, and what I seem to be getting here is 1 & 1 = 2.
I made the post here (under vygis section) when I had the problem of NO NETWORK,
and I have done many 8120 with Vygis, never had the problem, and here some1 else has same problem.
You have a nice software, though I only use it for SEMC (& soon Sharp 3G)

Ok true, my friend found this phone in a rest. It was from italian tourist 'cause phone was italian language.
Phone is not barred? I called oparator and told me that there is not barred phone with this phone's imei #, and there is no way to barred a phone here in Nicaragua. Many people uses stolen phone in Nicaragua :D

Nigerian networks dont have what it takes to bar stollen phones too.

thi no network prob;em is worldwide and got to do with bandwidth locks. Im in Australia and flashed a 8110 with setool3 also no network except 3g we neeed to find a solution. I need to know how to fix this problem. My LG was brand new so it was not imei locked.

Maybe they should know about Test Menu and 'Factory Reset' option. Does miracles sometimes;)

just make 2 times fact reset and than unlock it.
it works for me once... but not for no network the screen was showing "please select the network"

After this phone will have full signal again.
