hi can the above unlock nec 338 version 4 safely as I have one to unlock for a very large customer :(

There are free solutions for this phone. "Large Customer" needs small solution. :D

USE PBB NEXUS in my thread use Search button it unlock 338 v04 06 08 TESTED and respected Give a try post results

hi thanks gave it a go gx30 powerd cable programme done all right things read imei rebooted phone said unlocked but still locked on 3 any idears must admit to using a usb to com converter though!! would this have any bearing on unlock??

No Dear it cant unlock v04, I have tested on three sets.
The software will say unlcked,but the phone will still locked.

IMEI Goes!!! However, there's a free flasher to downgrade and repair E338. Downgrade first, then unlock. IMEI remains:)
