I think there is a problem in setting because when progress write 100% the progress bar blu stop at 50& and after give succesfull but phone power on and stop at NEC logo.
do i need to extract in particullar dirctory or in any directory will work. ?

But no need to downgrade nec 338 sv04 to sv03 to unlock ....Use search button PPB nexus is doing any version even sv07 i have tested :)

Hmm sure it is working on software v4 fir the 338? Don't think they have made a version 7 of it yet either...Come to think of it v5 isn't out.
Maybe you are confused with a different model which PBB will unlock all versions of.
The flasher failed everytime on the 338 I have here (I used to use IPLS a lot when it was needed for the 616v before the likes of PBB, etc)
Tried with my Furious2, and it worked first time.

If whit ipls all ok, now use Crazzy 5 and restore imei via usb and voilà phone unlocked whit sw.03. ;)

I have a 338 sv04 which I need to downgrade, but it always stops at 24 % on one PC and when it reaches 30 & or more on another PC. What I can do to revive this phone? I need urgent help, cause the phone is now just stopping at the NEC logo.
Hi, today i unlocked one nec338 v04 ...
but phone didnt want to unlock at furst 5-6 tries ..
i did many times repair imei and about ~10 try unlocked ok.
i also restarted pc few times (Pentium2/450MHz)
cable used : GX30 cable on USB UniBox, com2.
software: cracked Zulea's Nexus v4.0

After flash program finish give on screen green color and 100% on dowloading bar, now detach phone and use crazzy 5 via usb to restore imei.
Enjoy phone unloked and downgrade to sv03. ;)

Yes this solution work i have found for all but there is something problem and if you have a dead phone reflash again and phone alive. ;)

Why I can not ever succeed to Full Repair IMEI number with Crazzy after flashing? I always use the Crazzy v1.5 to unlock the phone with corrupted IMEI, otherwise it will not work, just remains at NEC logo, and afterwards I cannot Repair IMEI even with NEC Smart Tool or Nexus. Any advice is highly appreciated. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

number port problem solved,the flasher start at port 1 and end at port 32,
if u have all port busy and need extend number:
edit iplt.ini,
at mobail count insert n. u need max 127
save and enjoy.

ive got a NEC e338 that was locked to 3, i bought a USB cable with a cd full of progs, crazzy v5, drivers etc blah blah. i plugged it all together installed 338 drivers and some 'HASP' thingy (the instructions told me to....hehehe) and crazzy 5 tried a few times to unlock figured out how to set up the ports...got that workin, then i tried to unlock and now its stuck on the NEC logo or sometimes i get 'please wait'.....ive tried using this flash/ downgrade prog and the first few times i got an 'ACPU ROM Check error' then i set ROM CHECK to 'off' from on and it worked....sorta..ish. it said it was succesful. but i noticed the big progress % only gets to like 30%ish but in the window it goes to 100% and finishes 'succesfully'.. i then try and use crazzy 5 and now it says ..'initializin' connecting' 'rx error' . crazzy used to work properly and go all the way through its thing fine but my phone still is frozen on NEC...:( :confused: :( :eek: :mad: :mad: :confused: .....plz help me someone....... thanks in advanc cause i know u ppl will help me fix my phone...lol:rolleyes: =LEIGHROYZ=

connect off phone by sharpGX30 com cable
write imei and push button change imei
after this, power on the phone and that is all, just wait, after cca 30 sec phone will be OK

I am also facing same problem, after changing ACPU ROM CHECK=OFF the main progress bar jumps from 50% to 100% and show green screen and Complete msg, but the mobile is still in NEC LOGO and Freezed, with CRAzzy unlocker gives flashing red screen with Rx checksum error.
anyon with a solid solution please help

I have flashed an E338, now the phone hangs on the NEC start up or dont switch on. Have tried the repair IMEI etc which goes to 100% but it dont repair the phone. Any other flash available or any other solution, I can see Im not the only one struggling with this!

Flashing it in the first place has caused the problem, unless you have a different flash nothing will change!:(
Always after upgrade or downgrade phone beetween versions v01-03 and v04-newer you need to reset EPROM via Serial Port cable. After reset everything should work OK.
If you downgrade phone to v03 and older, unlock it and upgrade to v04(and newer)phone will be frozen at NEC logo. No exist any free software that allow to chnage IMEI or unlock phone without changing imei for version V04 and newer.
NEC e338 v04 has diffrent format of security area then older versions. We need NEW TailorSA.dll security liblary to extract new algos. If sb can help plase contact me.

You have V04 flash file ? New algo can be discovered from ARM code ;-) Not only from tailor SA lib ;-)

Also recommended to set process priority of "IPLT" exe to High or RT under windows XP
Is this the same flash or a different flash?
@The_Dog: I don't understand .. Same as what .. ? On my site you can find NEC e338 v1, NEC e338 v3 and NEC e338 v4 flashers .. Every version has diffrent flash.
