I have a 2 D500's with this problem. When you go into the phone to have a look at the images that i have taken weeks ago are all black. When i take a picture with the phone it is saving the picture as a normal picture. I recieved some pictures from a friends phone via MMS and the picture had line's through it. When i forwarded the picture to another phone they were fine. Anyone have any idear???
Also I have another D500 with the same problem as above but the phone is running real slow and crashing. The only way to get it to work again is by taking the battery off.
All of the above phones were bought at the same time about 5 months ago and all went wrong last night. I know in the Nokia Symbian phones you can get viruses that cause problems with the battery and make calls, i'm wondering if it would be possiblke for the D500 to get a similar virus. The only reason i say this is because it happend to all 3 last night.
I know they would more than likly get repaired under warrenty but i would prefere to try and fix them my self as i can repair them and i don't want to wait 2 weeks for them to be sent back.
Also i dropped another d500 in a bowl of water. it was turning on but the screen was just white. i chemically cleaned the phone with meathalated spirts in a sonic cleaner and cleaned corrosion off the ends of the ribbon. now the phone will only work while the charger is plugged in. everything works just can't take it very far.
