The problem is with BB5 unlock: Reversing the original algorithm is too hard, nearly impossible at the moment. There is an other way which is much easier to do, but it cannot be protected. I mean if we would implement it to the Universal Box the next week many teams would copy it. So I can say that this soultion will be out as soon as someone implement it into their box or software, but after a while it will be free, or a very cheap solution.

We have implemented it already in the past, but unfortunatelly we found it buggy so we have temporary disabled it. We are going to reenable it soon cause we are working on it too with several enhancements.

got pissed off with sagmaster and scdrII buggy and limited tools. updated versions have less features than the previous versions etc etc. + poor support.

I am sorry, but Sagem is not our next goal. We better want make Siemens support after we done with a fully functional Nokia and SE soulutions. Sagem is also on todo list but can't tell you when we can start work on it.

Yes, documentation is weak at the moment, there is one thing we are going to finish soon for SEMC phones, after that we release the documentation. About your problem: You probably changed the imei on your phone but the phone was not flashed with patched flash. To flash the phone with patched software, simply load a software at Ericsson/UMTS/Flash page, but make sure the Skip software patch checkbox is NOT checked.

i dont know what you are talking about, griffin have nothing to do with universalbox dongle.

griffin server can only calculate ask from griffin team products

for ask in nokia format you can use services from other people around this forum, you will need to find those people yourself.

In your software window click on UPDATE / Files and after Refresh. You will see all flash files and will be able to download what you want...

You should download at least one file for that model and will be shown in the list. It isn't in the list until the directory of that model created. This is done by the main SW, just download one file.

separate erase and flash...All is in one...
Abut Nokia...It is maybe little slower then other Box's..But this is for safer work...You know that clients use very different PC's..From P1 till P4...
And we made speed to work with all configurations...

We have tested only 2112. The software works similar as for DCT-4, tries to find the area where to apply the patch. It is possible that some models/versions aren't supported. Please try by yourself because there isn't so much CDMA phones here. If it fails you can safely restore your phone and we would really appreciate your help. Thanks.

I don't have this problem. Every time the page loads you get a new number. You have to type the current number to the empty field before submitting.

maybe this is an annoying comment but.... cant resist not to mention it. BB5 unlock (yes again) is there no way to offer a service to us box owners? via a credit system maybe? I agree that once this solution is released it will be defintely cracked and everything will go to dust but something must be done one way or another.

No matter what the price of the credits are (unless they exceed that of the provider). Have clients crying to get their phones unlocked. Only method is via imei etc etc (at least tfor now) and this is not working on all networks especially 3.

The sim file contains undetermined information. If you want specify provider code, just modify one of these files, but do it on your own risk. Its a simple text file. Just compare these files and you will see what I mean. The purpose of these sim files to modify lock states. This is the way how to lock properly. Anyway uni not says that the phone is locked when you have opened with code. Its only says info about config data and not lock state. You can see that what was the phone locked before. We have removed lock state reading because several phones hung up when tried to read lock state. The code counter thing will be added.

Why do you need this? You want flash only language? If yes, just uncheck the MCU checkbox and flash.

You can't increase download speed with multiple download.
You can resume downloading but not a file. I mean that what is selected in the filelist and not yet downloaded will be resumed. We are going to make that the software will be able to reconnect and continue downloading after a connection loss but file resume is problematic to make. We will deploy more servers that will speed up downloading and file resume will not be necessary. Anyway if we will have time to make file resume we will do it.

We are working on a better SE CID 49 solution than others have. If we can't make we will implement similar solution what they have. We have started to count credits since no one could make CID 49 flashing. Can't make difference on the server side about credit requests. Remote solution uses the same requests. TP is the only one solution at the moment for CID49. We have to improve SE part now, and exactly this is what we are working on now.

It does automatically when you do IMEI change. Anyway you can save it with "Save RPL" button.

Rumor in my country said universal box team break up, and will not do any more update. Also Say imei patching for 1100b 2600b will have a extra charge and it is al ready working but you no one want to update ir for free. Is all this true? I hope it does not:confused:

You have totaly wrong informations. We have built secure box for long time. We won't stop support. We don't plan to charge for updates. Also we can't patch IMEI on 1100 and 2600. If you have universalbox then you will see today that we are still working on updates...

hi bro, maybe they are talking another box? uni box .. and not universalbox.. i am very happy with my universalbox. less bugs and it is a very complete box :)

Very completed box??If u have other boxes like jaf or ufstornado please keep it and u try use your universalbox see if this box is a completed box or not.Did u try unlock mmc before??Or try to read uem on dead phone(flash spoilt)??dct3?sony old models(smartcard).Dct4 imei manage ask type imei checksum,esn checksm you know how to use?6610 7210 patch also problem.but i m very happy with this box bout bb5 and sony new model(UMTS) really less bugs.I do hope this box will make me proud someday.
