can anyone help me, ive put tom tom on my mda vario phone but i have a co-pilot gps receiver.

the problem i find it detects the receiver but it keeps on losing connection.

is it to do with the co-pilot receiver only working with the co-pilot program.

I have just got myself a BT GPS module to work with my P910 and I have been looking all over the place to find the TomTom software to download! I have tried the links in this thread and the download limits all seem to have been exceeded. Could anyone here let me have a copy of the TomTom software with any crack that may be required to make it work? Also the UK map to go with it would be appreciated.

Thanks for your further message confirming you had tested it. I have just tried again and found that if I dialled up from a dial-ip it worked fine. There must be something about my cable modem IP address or something that megauploads does not like!

Now this problem is solved, what would be involved in adding the UK map too?

Dude this is the best share i saw.....i have a 2GB sd card and this is just awesome...it works fine and i dont need to swap for a map....when i go to germany....its V6.06 for people who want to know

my opinion....dont download a single map or plus maps.....if you do that you need to switch every time from country....this one doesnt need that

if it has SD support or something else....you will need it then...the map is 1.2 GB

Maps Supports:

PPC, Mobile Phones, PDA's, TomTom Go, etc

people think they need a diffrent version (because of the device they use).....but thats not true

I have P910i and GPS Holus with bluetooth (Holus 231), i installed Tomtom 5.20. I paired gps with phone but Tomtom gave me an message"no valid GPS signal".Somebody can help me?
I selected in GPS status-other Bluetooth device, but nothing.

I've downloaded the MSSEMC file twice. And both times they have different folders inside them.

first time MSSEMC downloaded, these folders were in de p-series folder:
Licences
system
tomtom
voices
zip

Second MSSEMC downloaded these folders:

system
tomtom
voices
itn

Am i missing the raster folders? I saw that folder mentioned in the first page of this thread. What am I missing here to get the TT5 running on my P910i.

Alright Dudes - 1st post for me

I've got an A1000 - followed everybodys instructions and it WORKED!!
It says version 5.2 which I'm chuffed about BUT I can't seem to find how to get the 7 digit postcodes working - only 4 digit...which is still great...but 7 would be even better.
I've noticed some people mentioning a ZIP folder in the media card - is this relevant?
If someone could help me with this - I would be very grateful

Next time check your own upload. You did not explicit tell that Alaska (2) was corrupt, sorry for confusion.

It also contains the Netherlands postal code (you can delete that file if you want to save a couple of MB)

I have a problem, not quite related to the P910i, but maybe somebody can help. I have tom tom installed on my P910i (I have no BT GPS) and it works perfect with all the maps I have.

I have also a TomTom Go 500 navigator, and I cannot get any map to work, besides the one my navigator came with. Anybody knows a way to make them work? I dunno, a keygen or something. I've tried almost everything that seems to work with a Pocket PC or P910, unsuccessfully until today.

Just an observation, when used on an A1000, the night colours do not work.
There was a fix on previous versions by altering hex values in the .app file.

If I try this, the values are not the same.

Any ideas/fixes mate.

I had to patch it first before I copied over my v5.02.
My version now indicates v5.202 with GPS drivers v1.2
and night mode is working as well thanks to the color schemes that you posted earlier.

Hi there,
For some reason TT Nav5 on the PPC working only with Bluetooth GPS receiver in serial cable mode.
It means: if you use any of NIMEA Bluetooth GPS receivers, you should set “Other Cable NMEA GPS” as serial driver in TT5 setup. I hope it will help.

I'm searching for a map of north Italy to save space on mmc, I don't want a map of 256Mb as original.
I bought it but is too large for me.
i can also use only Piedmont map, if you can help me...
(or give a system to cut the original map)

I watch this forum carefully for several months and succesfully use TT5 on my P910i with 1GB card.
Special thanks to trickydave!!! :) :) :)

Does someone know of a tool that can edit TT5 maps, e.g. to cut to smaller pieces?
Do you know of any special maps or updates for Poland (DE_AT_CZ_PL map's coverage for Poland is 23% only)?
Do you have TT5 maps for Polish cities?
Any help will be very appreciated.

i followed the instructions for making the map work, but still when i look for maps it shows no maps. is there anything i am missing? i really need the california map. thanks guys

Thanks for the update trickydave.
I had to patch it first before I copied over my v5.02.
My version now indicates v5.202 with GPS drivers v1.2
and night mode is working as well thanks to the color schemes that you posted earlier.

on a side note, do you have a map of new jersey ??

I'm trying to download some maps, but i don't know where to copy the files on my mobile.
In fact the problem is that when i try to lunch tomtom 5, he ask me for the language, then right-handed, kilometres, clock format, voices, then he tell there's no maps found.

HEllo ALL, some of my experience whit maps and crack ,i need some hellp,
When i am using the update 5.21 and the crack, the MDA VARIO , have problems to see all the maps on a 1 GB card, i now also the version maps have important aspects, i tried whit defferent versions of maps,
Have somebody experience whit this ???

this is the hex edit patch i used to upgrade my tomtom5 v5.02 to v5.202
and i added the color schemes that trickydave (thanks to him) had posted earlier.

i am going to attach my ttmobile.app (v5.202) and the color schemes.

Night mode now works on my A1000 version 5.202

However, the colour schemes do not.

The included .sis file will not istall on the A1000.

Any thoughts mate?
