The updated cast includes Josh Lucas and the always dependable Kurt Russell, although none of the actors' likeness really appear in the mobile game.

The game opens with a mild cinematic, as we see snippets of characters musing about what the future may hold as the clock counts down to midnight. The New Year, however, is not rung in with champagne and casual sex, but a massive tidal wave that rolls the ship upside-down. Many are killed immediately, and it almost appears as if they are the lucky ones. The survivors must somehow climb through the wreckage of the overturned vessel and find a way to escape impending doom -- a ship turned over like this does not stay afloat for very long.

FatBall is a game that requires the player to think. Fat Balls star is Chubby, a purple ball thats addicted to candy. One day, while walking down the street to the candy store, Chubby is kidnapped by evil aliens with a twisted sense of humour that want to have some fun. He is then dropped into a maze filled with all types of candies. Chubby knows he has to escape... but he also wants to eat all those sweet candies that the aliens have scattered throughout the levels.

Anyways, It will create a Hangaroo entry in your menu just click from there, you should play this Fullscreen (Left softbutton select Fullscreen). Sometimes it prompts an error, buts its only with the some of the entrys. Just load it again. If you have Garfield The Vault installed, uninstall it first in order for this to work.

Garfield 2 is surprisingly the sequel to the Garfield 1 which I must admit, we never played here at Mobile Game Faqs. The film is out in the cinemas and lo and behold, the game is hitting our small screens as well. The mobile version of the game is an adventure based on the plot of the film with several additional scenes not in the movie apparently (as we haven't seen the movie we can't confirm this).

The game takes place with Garfield wandering around his palace with his muttley helper (geddit) and bascially you have to explore and find objects which are used to progress the game (i.e. find the gas supply and turn it on so Garfield can have his beloved lasagna) and deal with any enemies that you come across. The fighting is a turn based fighting system a la Final Fantasy, with you and your enemies having a variety of attacks as well as items to use etc.

Graphically the game is nicely presented with a well rendered opening shot and reasonably detailed overhead view in the game. Garfield has been done well, as have the other creatures you encounter with them retaining a very cartoon like quality that matches the film and the original series. The backgrounds are a little bit more standard 2D adventure game styled but they have some nice colours which match the environment and the detail isn't bad either. The animation is pretty good but this is mainly for the combat events as the attacks that the characters possess can be quite comical. Sound is really good as well with a great little tune when you load the game. During the game there's no sound when you are exploring but there is music and sound effects in the battles. There's a little action tune when you start them and a little victory one when you end. Plus you get sound effects for the different attacks (sometimes no more than a tone but at least it's something) and when you dispose of enemies.

Controls are very simple, use the D or key pad to walk around and the main button or 5 is the select button. During the battle just select the attack you want to use and who you want to use it on! Right shoulder key will bring up your inventory and the left shoulder key pauses the game and also gives a fair few options. You should have no trouble in picking up the controls.

The game itself is a lot of fun to play. I really like final fantasy style games (as I was hooked by the originals) and the comic elements of Garfield 2 definitely add to the enjoyment of the game. As you progress through battles you get experience points and increase in levels which will lead to new attacks that you receive. One nice touch is that the enemies react differently to your attacks so the same attack may take of a whopping amount of damage on one enemy but try it on another enemy and it may actually replenish or increase their health!! So the game becomes more of a learning experience as well as a tactical one because some of the battles have you facing off against four opponents. The plot and adventure part of the game isn't too complicated, finding keys, books etc but the game is quite large which is a bonus so you can find yourself wandering for a while. There are quite a few different locations and the plot ticks along nicely, although if you haven't met the characters before there are a lot of names flying about.

The lastability is good as the game is large and allows you to save progress. There are a few little glitches like when you reload your game, all the enemies you have defeated around the area will appear again, but then so too will the boxes with the items in them. The game also tells you when you have to do certain things as it won't allow you to leave an area if you haven't found what you're supposed to which is good for novices. The plot is enjoyable to follow and Garfield is as sarcastic as ever, and the game makes a very welcome light hearted change from the usual games in this genre.

A great sequel that is fun to play, follows the film faithfully and keeps you entertained the whole way through.

There is a small problem. I installed this game, but I can't find icon hangaroo in the phone menu. So, install flashlite, install hangaroo. Than open your file explorer (Fexplorer, or any else..) and find: E:system/apps/hangaroo/hangarooo1.dat and open this file. It's curious, but working :rolleyes: If you install any else app for flashlite, you can see icon of the game on your phone menu.:p enjoy

The original Absolute Puzzle was a suprise hit, cramming three seperate puzzle titles into one convenient package. So what's changed? Not a lot. Although billed as a 'sequel', Absolute Puzzle Deluxe has the same three games that you've played before, just looking slightly better and with different levels and challenges. So what are the three games, and are they worth the price of admission?

Clear Out is the least interesting game of the three, and is probably one of thousands of clones of the game where you have to match two or more of the same coloured blocks. No cool animations or effects here, you are just given a plain board of many blocks and you have to find two or more adjoining blocks of the same colour. Save for a briefly interesting 'Infinite' mode where you have to race against the clock to eliminate as many blocks as possible in a short amount of time, Clear Out gets boring very quickly and doesn't provide much entertainment.

Light Up is a fairly original idea and is definitely the most taxing game on the brain. Using objects like tubes and mirrors, you have to direct a laser beam to the receptor in the shortest amount of time possible. It does often take a long time to work out the solution, but on the other side of the coin can be very rewarding when the solution is finally worked out. It provided some good challenging fun and I liked this one the best.

Blockers is another commonly copied game, involving arranging blocks and moving them out of the way so that you can get your block through the exit. I've played games like this many times, but found this version a bit too slow for my liking as often by the time I had cycled around the different blocks choosing the one I wanted to move, my interest had waned and I really couldn't be bothered with the puzzle. Especially when there are five or more blocks in the one puzzle, moving each one then cycling back and moving another one takes a lot of time and isn't really well suited for mobile play. There are however a large number of different levels on offer, so Blockers will reward you if you can stick with it and keep playing.

The graphics in Absolute Puzzle Deluxe are okay, certainly more polished than the graphics of it's predecessor, but not great. As a puzzle game it doesn't have a lot of movement and therefore not a huge requirement for animations, so I think the designers of the game could've made it look neater and more impressive as most of the time the graphics are just static (not moving) anyway. The game design does have a simplicity to it that works but definitely won't win any awards.
The sound is a let-down, the menu music is good however in game things are below average, just a few basic sound effects but nothing outstanding in any way. Puzzle games are often renowned and famous for their music, so why not have some?

for atlantis redux games copy/paste for example "atlantis-1" to MMC...
on system-> apps->(paste inside)

btw if u see "META-INF" folder, just change the extentions from "zip" to "rar" then send it to ur phone... ;)
