i-mate Smartphone2, Reset Phone code, Plz Help

I have an i-mate Smartphone2, model sv10a, that needs phone code. If anyone knows how to reset, please help, thanks

1. Press and hold soft1 and soft2 keys.
2. Press and hold power button for around 1 to 1.5 seconds. Release power button. Keep hold soft1 and soft2 keys.
3. Later, screen shoould show instructions to ask user to press '0' key to reset to factory default.
4. Press '0' within the timeout period, which is only several seconds only.
5. If no instruction is shown on the screen, repeat steps 1 to 4.
The timing is sensitive.

thanks...I've already tried that and it didn't work..It just turned on the phone normally..maybe pressing different keys?

Sorry.. I did mistake. thats was for SP3, SP3i and C500 series.

for SP2..


1. Switch off the phone and remove the battery for 30 seconds.

2. Replace the battery, hold down the voice memo button (same button as the camera button underneath the power button) and the power button until "Card Found" is displayed.

3. When the screen "Press any key to enter bootloader" appears, press and hold the action key down.

4. This will bring you to a menu. On the E200 there isn't an option such as "Erase ipsm" or "Erase storage". The option is called "RUU recover". Click on this and it will take you to the loading pages. This indicates that the reboot worked.

thanks again..It's not working yet but I think I'm getting close..Again this is the i-mate smartphone2, sv10a, when I press the camera and volume buttons at the side of the phone and power, it goes to booth loader and show Smart phone v1.07.01..what do i need to do next? thanks

Thank you, DrMobile...You're truly a young DrMobile..I took your advice and just did little bit different..I had to hold down camera, voice(volume)button and action keys at the same time and power up phone..after phone power up, like you said, it says"Press any key to go to bootloader" continue to press down action key and let go other keys until it goes to a menu. In this case, it show #0-9..every #is empty, except the last #9, it says "storage" I scroll down to that and press the action key and the phone reboot and wait until it reboot completely...Phone is UNLOCKED..thanks to you Doctor...for your help
