View Full Version : What's the best SEMC tool(LG3G included)?

The pictures tells all, but few more thing needs to be said. ;)

We all remember LG8130(R) crysis !?
It lasted long, so long until Laser (after my one month crying aldough :D ) decided to cut the crap and workout that phone.
I still remember that 'miracle' update. :)
A tons of money for all SETOOL users!

After 1-2 months many even garbage boxes mannaged to steal the 'miracle' loaders and routines.
But, SETOOL users had enaught time to fill the pockets with fresh money. ;)

Now we have allmoust the same situation.
LG8380 and LG8360 cannot be unlocked at all.Unless you want to make a half working phone.Your customers doesn't want that trust me.
For LG8330 and LG8180 there is a slight better solution.
They lose only 'few' functions :D , and change few buttons on keyboard but many customers will swallow it.Not all off course.

This lasts for a long time allready, until(after my few months crying aldough :D ) Laser decided to do it again. :)

So, SETOOL users will have a nice 'gift' again.
Will fill 'extra' their pockets once more.
Other's will say once more:
'Why didn't I buy SETOOL instead of this/that crap???' .
Hehehhe...
That's a life guys.We all sometimes make wrong decisions. ;)

Now I'll cut the crap.

LG8330,LG8180,LG8380 and LG8360 unlocked without test-points and with original firmware.A dream?
No!
A reality for all SETOOL users.

He, he, but WHERE IS THE SOFTWARE / FLASHFILES? Selling PHOTOS, like HWK with BB5 .... :cool:

Also, there will be NOT MANY TIME for all SETool users to fill their pockets, because in 1-2 days AFTER this release (who is NOT RELEASED NOW, just talkings, to "catch" few customers before release), an MOOORE CHEAPER solution (USB-Smart) will have this feature too. Just read this thread for more details:

And the conclusion is so simple:
Patched flash method can NOT be protected well (even if CID is changed after flash)!!!

This situation was WELL described by Legija with his so good words (in smae thread):
"New" CID will not change much. It's sad situation that developers will do nothing, because other will stole it in day or two. Sad but true

So you have not slept all night long, or you have woken so early just to make this tendentious poll. This update can't make Setool the best, although it is a good update.
