The dillemma still exists!
Mp3 to Rm converter converts the files fine but there are compresion errors...also even when the conversion process is fully complete and the full file is loaded on to the phone the phone still says file not complete playing part if ringtone!
so if anyone knows which is the best converter plz post the link along with the link to the crack....but that only if u try it and it works...
also i wanted everyone to know that RM is the best format for storing MUSIC on a 6630 or 6680....as it doesnt compromise on quality and a full song fits into 1-1.5 mbs.....with no compromises on bass or treble...
for music aficianados...this format rules..
im a music buff too and i used to hate listening to my 6600 mp3 quality so much that i was disgusted totally
but the stereo output of the RM format coupled with the great nokia headset alongwith the fantastic audio quality of the original rm player makes the sound quality 90% close to an IPOD with no or very less distortion!
Finally we have a phone that we can use as a DIGITAL CAMERA and MP3 PLAYER!
ciaos!
Take care
Add me on msn if u want!

guys a few days back i thought its good enough to compress the sound to RM format.....
it still IS the best format to store songs if u have less memory on ur mmc!
but since i dint wanna convert songs and also couldnt wait to explore the potential of my 6630's sound quality i went ahead and bought the 256 mb mmc....
and ppl i dont regret it
DV cards have become dirt cheap....256 mb for 1100/- and 512 for 2700/- in INR(indian national rupee) in mumbai!
and so now i keep the ******** mp3 format without making any changes to the song....
ill still upddate ull if i find out about the right compression software!
