I love it When you talk about source codes. Good news
I am just developing (thinking about) new API for smartcards (based on cardinal 0.99 plugins api). It will be open source (but in Delphi 5-7). Maybe i will continue on cardinal simeditor (i dont know yet - i dont like to program GUIs:) i must first solve architecture of plugins and devices, because i would like to implement an "unreal devices", "remote readers" through TPC/IP on remote machine (LAN,internet), multi readers interface,etc... ive got lots of ideas, but no time for realization it (maybe im so lazy:)
The last 0.99 version of cardinal simeditor (free) will be released promptly (incl. plugins), im just looking for place for it - old website www:mfgware:com's gone.
if somebody would want to share in this project then you can contact me

(How about sourceforge.net ;) , they will happily accept and host your project)
Any news about the new site?
Yeah :) Good news for all ! The new CARDinal project will start from January 2006. Version 0.99 will be free of charge - but must not be bundled with any hardware!
Version 1.00 will be probably open source - appeal to all - if you are Delphi/CBuilder/VC programmer or graphic designer, you're experienced in smartcards and you would like to join us, let me know (mfg(at)sendme(dot)cz).
