GriffinTeam Flashing products, and the reasoning for them:
Griffin - Designed 3 years ago, it has become one of the most popular flashers on the market. For those 3 years, we have worked and released extensive software support for it, in order to support the new phones from Nokia. We see a lot of postings, that others have had better support, ok, take a look back and see where the new concepts and features were released first, and try to find any other box that managed to stay updated that long.
GTI - This is our Hardware copy of FLS4. What this means is:- GTI will work with any Phoenix and Wintesla, as an Original FLS4 device from Nokia. This means support for 12V VPP , support for any DES combination(not available on other similar products on the market) - to guarantee it will work with all old and future releases of Phoenix without us having to do anything. The concept of GTI is:- If Phoenix is able to flash some Nokia phones through FLS4, then the GTI user is also able to flash it. This device is designed for professionals that can use the benefits of the original SW, and not only flash the phone, but do some special servicing on it. In summary:- Having GTI means a user has the same options as a small LICENSED service center of Nokia.
MTBox - the concept of MTBox is to replace the outdated design of Griffin, and continue the support for new phones from Nokia. WHY is this needed?
* New phones have bigger flash chips which means more time to flash. THAT is why we made MTBox to be the FASTEST flasher on the market.
New phones have new requirements for power. That is why we have made a box with a very complicated and flexible power scheme, to make sure we are able to support new phones.
LPT is obsolete that is why we designed the new box for USB.
As the plaform is flexible enough, it will be used to flash at high speed SE Platform phones(SE,LG3G,SHARP3G). As the price of the box is reasonable, SE Platform support and Nokia plaform support will be selled as separate boxes. This has the benefis of been able to flash Nokia and SE phones simultatiously
Availability of MTBox - Until our strategic partner Networkunlock has the boxes in stock in his warehouse, Official software will not be released and sales not started. Some screen shots of beta versions of software were released. So expect official release and actual offers for sales on Tuesday or Wednesday.
To GTI users - we treasure you as clients, so we will make sure you feel happy for having a GTI box. More details will be available next week.
To Griffin users - we will continue to support the box as long as it is feasible, if you are happy with our support please consider getting MTBox in the near future, because as we've said above the HW of Griffin is outdated and we can't provide quality support through it.
