This phone is a "crap"... all good looking and fancy but no real good values of this phone. My personal advice, don´t waste money on it.

BTW, why u want his ringtones?

because they have really hyped the phones ringtones.....
they have been composed by an exclusive composer....
so i thought they will be real good....
anyways if u say so its ok....
as it is ive not seen anyone with a 8800 yet....
so i know there might not be anything SO special with the phone!

Maybe I gave wrong impression...

Let´s explain. When I first handle this phone was in August and there was no advertise on tv´s and etc, only on Nokia site. But besides being a very well built phone there´s no real "big" deals about it. But we learn our lesson with previous Nokia attempts (8850 / 8910)... phones too expensives and besides good looking and well made, didn´t had anything new about them. Well same happends here with 8800.
Now for people seing all these fine advertise about this phone and consider to buy it, well they will get some disappointed... when 3rd day after buy passed and u admired all the angles and all the pretty sides of it... well there´s nothing new to discover...

However, I may had gave a wrong impression on above post, all I wanted to say, is that besides a very good looking and very well built phone there´s nothing new. But as I said we are already used to this when nokia "metal" versions comes.

Thanks to all

BTW, yes ringtones are very good infact. But someone made a good point... how to get them out? lol... :)

Until then , Why don't you edit some of the Sakamoto's songs , and upload it in your phone. I lissened to this post with 8800.mp3, and endeed sound like a standard Sakamoto.

News from o2 -

Nokia are releasing the Nokia 8800's in lots of 10 ONLY to keep the price high & keep them limited edition & sought after.

It's rumoured they are stopping production of this model early next year to keep it as an 'exclusive' phone &/or collectable phone.......

Direct from o2 peeps & for those who have them......look after it because if they do stop production you will have a more expensive phone than you have now (who would have thought it) lol

I have a 8800 and i differ in opinion. It is a great phone. And the exclusivity of it, makes it even better. It has all the functions of the 6230i barring the memory card aspect. It is much better than i expected.

-Colour depth in the Nokia 8800 - 18 bit (262000 K), against 16 bit for the Nokia 6230i (65000 K). This partly explains the productivity fall.
-Different battery life, shorter for the Nokia 8800
-EDGE/GPRS in Nokia 8800 class 8, against class 10 in the Nokia 6230i
-SXGA-camera against a 1.3 megapixel in the Nokia 6230i
-Push to Talk in the Nokia 6230i
-Side volume buttons in the Nokia 6230i
-Java-application size for the Nokia 6230i forms 512 KB and for the Nokia 8800 it is 100 KB
-Impossibility to transfer Java-applications directly to the Nokia 8800, only using Nokia PC Suite
-Mono output on the Nokia 8800, impossibility to listen to the radio n stereo mode and using stereo earphones

!!!!!!!!NOW YOU SEE THIS DIFFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
