If I need to format my PC again it will change the machine ID again?

In wich folder is that ID ?

I think it will be the same, should be. So you only have to keep that mail..But something inside me says that this is going to have more protection...

the problem is that I have formated my pc, and Astro SE don´t work know, because it have a new machine ID and Astro team said me the following :

"Provide your reseller this information, and we will calculate license for him.

We do not anymore calculate licenses for old users"

This is a good support ?????

I have to contact my reseller, then he will contact astro-team,then astro-team contact my reseller and just after I will have my code!!!!!!!

so when will I have the activation ????? ( Maybe at cristhmas ?)

I will state some things here for the publicity.

Statement 1:
If you format your Disk volume ID, or CPU ID or BIOS Information you will loose your license key.

Statement 2:
We do calculate licenses, but just twice this means if you already got your license once and followed the statement no. 1, we can just provide you one more license at the moment.

Statement 3:
Why do we do this? To prevent other people, non-registered users to use our software parts, since our softwares are not hardware capable yet.

Statement 4:
Why does this go throught the reseller? Cause you bought it from your reseller, and only he is holding your information.
We cannot simply, provide registration license by PM for 300 users, since it's not an wise solution, and we are very often online on the internet.

I hope this is enough for everybody.

Give them enough time to protect with hardware and they will give you another licence.But you must understand this...

itīs the only solution.

I cannot accept and will not accept that if I need to format my pc or upgrade to another one, that the Astro SE will not work anymore.....

They have to find another solution, because if not they will have a lot of problems with costumers

Hi ,

But i think Astro Team is working on a solution right now to protect it through another way , hopefully soon .

but we also have to follow the system and go through proper channels to obtain keys , since , if astro team just starts issueing keys , they will not have time to make other updates!. So be Happy and Ask your Resellers .
