View Full Version : How to extract theme wallpaper??

Hi people,

I have a theme on my Nokia 6680 and I like the wallpaper on it but I don't like the menu layout and other layouts on the theme although the wallpaper looks really cool. I was wondering if there is any way of exracting only the wallpaper from the theme using a theme editing software?

Any help will be greately appreciated guys. Plz?

try Nokia Theme Studio (http://www.forum.nokia.com) , if needed try Unmake SIS program to extract the .mbm file

Ok guys after one failed attempt managed to download the app. Must have been a lot traffic on the nokia servers.

Hi there

I can't open any .sis files so I copied and pasted the .sis file in a folder that made me show the file in the theme studio. I managed to load all the layouts and menus but can't edit them (cut, copy, paste).

I get no toolbar to edit the loaded theme. I don't know what else to do. I tried eveything. Am I doing something wrong? If possible can I have some tutorial (step by step) as how to use this editor. I can't seem to find any other theme editors for Nokia symbian OS. :confused:

use a program Unmake SIS (just search for it) to get the .mbm file that can be opened easily in Theme Studio

in that u dont have to load sis file u have to load mbm file . mbm file means the themes which are already install that files are in mmc ,system ,skins . is there in skins folder

Ok thanks. will give it a try. Also i checked out mangothemes and they've got some superb themes. Only thing... they ain't free :p

Ho boy... that's one unstable site :)
You won't believe how many time I tried to get all the link downloaded. I can't use any download manager since I use my office PC.

down load accelareter will not support it so disable it if u have

What I'd try, is install the theme on the memory card, then access the memory card from the pc and delete all themes BUT the background. plz reply if it works.
