View Full Version : i cant flash a panasonic a100! why????

hi i am using infinity box with the X60 cable that i got with the box.i put ON near the alimentation cable and in the front i put F-BUS. i plug the cable(that goes to the phone) where it on the bottom RJ45 and on the right it says RX TX. i open up tha software and when i try to flash the phone i get this error message:

COM8 selected
Device: A10x
Checking data, wait...
Action: Flash write
Write: Firmware
Write: MAP/Customization
Write: Language Pack
Skip: EEPROM
Boot....
Press Power button now !
Connecting, wait...
Err: wrong answer1[2A21]
Boot Fail
Finished
Remove/Install battery now !
Time used: 26 sec



i want to say that at the beginning i could get pass where it says "Press Power button now !" but after a lot of tries and after reading this forum i got past this point BUT the weird thing is that i didnt get past to it by pressing the power on the phone but i get past to it by taking A LITTLE the cable out of the phone....

but still it gives me this error that its driving me crazy! my box is new and this is the first phone that im trying to repair with infinity box...so u can call me a rook with this device but please help me! :(

Hi,

Use cable with "G50" mark for A100 (hands-free jack with 4 metal pins).

my infinity box came with 6 cables and i dont have a g50 cable.i have a gd55 cable...uhmmm u sure i need the g50 cable?

Hi,

I am sure you need "G50" cable.
Also, you can use any other G50 cable, f.e. for ordinary COM port cable.

my reseller is "luigi"


i dont think i have this g50 cable....perhaps i lost it or he didnt send it...? :(

all packages are sent with complete cables ,
please check with ure reseller why the cable is missing or may be you have misplaced it in ure office?
Also you can use any ordinary G50 Serial cable , use serial port of your PC
