I'm searching a flash for D600E with French language. I've already flashed my D600E with D600 Flash unbranded and after phone have no network. Have you 1 link for this?

Every firmware has english in it, even china too...
not shure about branding.

It's an unbranded flash. It's a special J.O flash. I've found these informations on other forum.

Isn't this the winter olympics promo flash? Here's a qoute from another forum about it:
On the down side... the olympic version has a REALLY frustrating manu which acts as an alternative home-screen - its meant to display up-to-the-minute news from the winter olympics but at the moment it just displays a full-screen advert for the olympics. You can toggle between screens by pressing the red hang-up key, but it always defaults to the olympic advert and you can't remove it (yet! )
Also, is it true that you cant use normal D600 firmware with the D600E?
(It's mentioned that the flashing works but you cant get reception when you put a sim in).
I have D600EBVEK2(France,Poland,Netherkands).Only D600E

It's very interesting. Because the "olympic flash" works very well but the screensaver isn't good. Could you give us 1 link for your flash. Is it an unbranded flash?

Very good flash file for D600E. It's almost unbranded. Just start menu from vodacom. All is OK. Tested by me on 4 D600E.

When you power on the phone, you have "vodacom" logo and not "samsung fun club" logo like in original flash. But you can flash your phone without any problem

Right guy's - the D600E unbranded flash with normal startup screen is ebvek4 (the one with 2 parts to download).
I am currently using this and its excellent.

Whats the date on that firmware?
Do *#8999*8378# and select s/w version, date of firmware should be shown.
I've got D600EXBEK4 which is Nov 19 2005 - however Opera mini doesn't work with it. Just wondering if anyone has a newer version i can test with Opera Mini (I miss decent google on the move!!)

Hi - Sorry quix - that is the version I am using - I got the revsion string wrong, however I dont use Opera Mini Browser (yet) so I dont need an upgrade...
There is one very small bug that gets on my t.i.t.s but I can live with it for now... basically - A friend on Orange phoned me the other night and it came up "Unknown" on the screen and once I answered it his name came up from the phonebook - very strange, but like I said its only when he phones me so I suppose I can live with it for now... also has this happend to anyone else using this firmware?.

mobilextreme: never had that problem with the D600EXBEK4 firmware.. Does sound like a very strange bug, would have thought it would have at least shown you the number instead of unknown - considering it identified him later on.. weird..
I'm keeping an eye out for new firmware, will let you know if i find any..
theres bound to be a newer one been two months since last version

Hello,
Does anyone know how to turn off the Wow service on the Olympic flash please? All the phones I have tried with this flash all show a Network Error when trying to use the service or when trying to deactivate, I assume it connects to a wap site to configure or modify the service but it cant do that so it shows a network error???
Is there any way at all around this please or any other good sim free image???
