Hi!
I tried to ask logitech support but they didn't even understood my problems, so maybe some of advanced users here will help me:
I got two logitech desktops which utilizes as a reciver small "Logitech Bluetooth 2.0 EDR" unit. Everything was working okay, as long as "SetPoint (which is a software for keyb/mouse) management" found and update and updated itself to a some newer version (i was using 2.44C from CD) - probably 2.47.
At one PC upgrade process went okay, but there's a serious problem on second one. While upgrading process computer hanged up, and now:
1) after i plug logitech usb reciever into USB it's detected as "broadcom bluetooth download device"
2) i got no driver for this device
3) i got no proper .dfu file (working reciever is reported as "Logitech Mini-BT reciever"" and no idea how can i download it from working one ?
NOT working is detected in device manager as:
USB\VID_046D&PID_C70F\5&2F6F8AF0&0&1
Working ONE is:
USB\VID_046D&PID_C709\000761416744
Reciever is based on broadcom chip - BCM 2045. widcomm software which were bundled on CD was 5.0.1.801 and it report working reciever as:
Vendor: Broadcom Corporation
F/W version: Version 2.1.58.0
Device addres: MAC 00.07 etc
HCI version: Bluetooth HCI 2.0
HCI release: 2000
LMP version: Bluetooth LMP 2.0
LMP subversion: 413A
if i understood correctly posts on this forum - i could fix my problem by uploading to broken device proper .DFU file, or i'm wrong and should i send "dinovo desktop" for RMA (i do not wanna do it - christmas time, and probably i will get replacement after new year :()
I'll be very happy if someone could help me, please.
regards,
