I was wondering, have you tried the greek map with mobile 7? i cannot download it, because of a rapidshare upgrade, but if the map is the one from the old version, it probably won't work with mobile 7 and it will have less areas since the new map has changed a lot...

Please let me know if it works, (and if you have some time please upload to another site, coz rapidshare is sucks!

Hallo

I have a Nokia 6670, after i install this programm and start the program i become the following message:
Resource error. Resource files are missing. Please reinstall the application.
I don't know why. I create a map-folder in e:\system\apps\ROUTE66 and put the Map-file *.prm in the map-folder. And the rest is installed in e:\system\apps\ROUTE66. Please help me.
I test this with the first-version route66mobile7@mobilefreaks.zip, here I dont know why there is a fonts-folder in the zip-folder and where i put him. I dont know why there are 2 route66.app-files in the zip-file. One in the root of the zip and one in ROUTE66-folder of the zip-file.
I test this with the anonther version mobile7.0.964_cracked.zip. I start the sis-file for installation. It installs, then I make a map-folder in ROUTE66 and put the *.prm file . I become the same error-message. Why is in the zip file a sis-file and a second zip-file I extract this and i think these are the same files i installed with the sis-file on the handy?

I get the same f*cking error all the time. I have tried all I have seen on this board and still nothing.
my phone is a 6670.
this is what I do:

1st I copy system folder onto my card using a card reader. putting the sys file into the cards root.
2nd I put the card back into my nokia and run the sys application using the file browser. It installs without a problem.
3rd then I go back to the downloaded files and copy over the route66.app to the card again.

this shuld make it work but doesn't What am I doing wrong?

Hi there thanks for your reply. Yes, I'm from Portugal but not living there. We should keep this in english since others should benefit from our experience.
Should this program not work without a map, I mean I do have maps but before putting these onto the card I just want to see if it works. Does it not work without a map?

I had the same mobiel and works fine for me. Try this.

1.- Download the program for the first page of this post
2.- Unzip
3.- Put Route66 folder contents into mmc > e:\system\apps\ROUTE66
4.- Put fonts folder contents into mmc > e:\system\FONTS
5.- Put any map into mmc > e:\system\apps\route66\MAPS (only the .prm file)

I suggest also:

6.- Install the last fixed ;) version of the program

Hi,

Does anyone know if the Route66 Mobile 7 should work with Siemens SX1?
It doesn't work just by copying the files to the e:\system\apps. I have also tried to install the .sis file but the problem is that it needs 2.8MB of memory and by deleting all the extra programs and messages I can get only 2.6MB of free space.
The older one, Route66 2005 works fine with the SX1 but the problem is that I can't find a map covering northern Finland. I found a map of Finland but I don't know if is it's for this mobile 7 or the older route66 2005. When I try to use it, the program crashes.

I have downloaded Schwantz Route 66 Mobile 7.
Does anybody know how to install correctly the program? :confused:
Is there any file missing (like a Mobile.sis file to launch the application?)
I have a RS MMB 256 MB card, where it was installed R66 Mobile 2005 and that I have erroneously cancelled!

Hi, I'm a new user. I have downloaded Schwantz Route 66 Mobile 7 and installed on 6630. When I try to install file Route_66_mobile_7.0.989_Cracked.sis, phone report a problem: Memory full, close apps. System Error -1003 If I try to run Route 66, I need the activation key...... Help me, please!!!!!! Sorry for bad english..... Ok, I tried to replace manually installed files with files stored in .sis after unzip them (with UNMAKESIS.EXE) and now it work well !!!! I'm so happy !!!!!

Are you sure that the file is for Symbian 9.1? Because on edonkey contains a lot of Route66 7 but it's for the 66xx series that doesn't work on the new N series and E series.
We need the S60v3 version.

If so, post the edonkey link so we can download too and make it faster.

That is a shame, but why is the app a different size from the other r66 mobile 7 app.:confused: :confused:the size difference is a lot of information.

Finding a working ROUTE66 for Symbian 9.1 will take a lot of time I guess. You see SYMBIAN 9.1 uses .EXE extension files located under sys/bin and not the usual .app files located under system/apps seen on previous versions of Symbian OS and it will be very difficult to have it bypassed at least for the time being. As a matter of fact there is NO single symbian 9.1 application posted as cracked for N80 but only keygen ones. All others appearing as cracks are just java based not sisx.

Bypassing previous versions of route66 apps was a matter of seconds. The byte sequense to bypass authorization was very easy. This does not apply to .exe route66 for symbian 9.1

So is the app for the 66xx series? Wow, one step up. I've replaced it on mine (S60v3) and Route66 starts, but asking for the code.

So, the real app for the S60v3 is in another place or is another file.

This is similar to what Apple did with MacOS X, where the apps are folders with .app extension and inside all the files that the app needs.

YOU DONT NEED PATCHING route66.app with a single byte or even touch that file. This crack is a 20sec job for everyone but it does not work for SYMBIAN 9.1 devices just like E61 or N80.

This is because THIS FILE is NEVER used. The real file firing up is /sys/bin/route66.exe

There are no app files in SYMBIAN 9.1 only EXE located under /sys/bin

So unless you find a cracked route66.exe dont even bother making route66 to work on Symbian 9.1

I'll continue to use my old 6600 as a navigator and wait....

If I knew it was so hard to crack this I never bought a E61... I took it just because the 6600 doesn't manage well two bluetooth connection at the same time.... I'm thinking about buying it...

Comparing Symbian 9.1 hacking to previous Symbian ones is stupid.
Symbian 9.1 exe format is not supported by disassemblers as previous .app was and this makes the job very difficult. Not to mention that exes are encrypted.
DID YOU EVER SEE A SINGLE SYMBIAN 9.1 exe file on the Internet till now, named CRACKED comparing to hundrends of .apps ??? Wondering why now? You only see keygens or full apps but not cracked ones. Go figure.

I'm testing the latest one you posted (7.0.1050) with my 6600 and the app is quite unstable, crash when you start use a menu' or just when connecting to the GPS. Sometimes it works and when happen, is impossible to close because pushing the right button the exit menu' doesn't apperar.

I tryed to delete the .ini file, to reset the app but the things didn't change.

I turned back with the previous k'ed verision (7.0.989) that works pretty well.

It's useless because the activation code is IMEI, map and a 6 chars code linked together. The R66 server generate the activation code with the above datas. Again, the activation code is specific of the R66 version you have, i.e. I bought Spain, my activation code works with Spain map only.
The file copied from the memory card is exactly the same you find on the original cd.
(I know that because I bought R66 S60 v2/3)

About the Route66 app closing suddenly... i also had that problem (i'm running N91) and to be honest i didn't do anything, just quite simply gave up for a couple of hours.

While i was watching tv i started it up again and it loaded and didn't close...? Don't know why, but now it loads everytime :confused:

Dave.... what does that GSM Loader do? I don't know german :(

Ok, if your activation screen is only showing for 2 seconds than you have to hard reset your phone.. Be aware u Sync it first 2 your computer because you lose all the content!!!! Hard reset = *#7370#
And than, I have a Nokia N80, I need the Route66 s60 v3, can't find no crack, so if u finally have the activation screen you cant use the program... Does ANYONE HAS A CRACK/KEYGEN?? Thanks !

I have followed the Intructions on this forum about saving it to the System fodler under E drive

Also I already had a folder called SYST on memory card so I am assuming everyone meant this folder ????

I ahve went into file manager and the memory card says I have used 200 mb but i am unable to view the syetm folder in file manager and when i view it by nokia suite there is nothing there ???

I have also viewed hidden files on nokia suite to no avail ???

The N80 has problems with buetooth and memory due to the firmware of the phone. Because of that, N80 was taken out of the list of compatible phones.We have confirmation from Nokia that this problem is caused by BT power consumption reduction change which was introduced in the latest firmware. Nokia is working on a fix that will be published shortly.

tekanet, wel didn't know that about r66 and the n80 :/ ! Have an other phone, also an nokia, wich i use now to navigate so the only problem is that i have to carry arround two phones.
But i am searching for an alternative out there, would like to have navigation on my n80.

An alternative would be navicore (http://www.navicoretech.com/Consumer/en_GB/productshome/), wich was reviewed very well! Even better than tomtom and r66 and they claim to be compatible with s60 3th edition.

tekanet, did you find any other GPS software for the n80?

I don't know but guess other gps software doesn't work well because it's an bluetooth problem between the GPS and Phone so we'll have to wait for an firmware update.

I have an version of navicore without any viruses and stuff but i don't know if it works on the n80 it's version: 2006/1/3.
And if it does work i only have te scandinavian map of navicore so if any one has benelux or europe map please post it!
Its an cd rip with full installation program. Guess it's not cracked in any way, don't know if it has to be activated before we can use it.

This_Works ok on N6680.N70 version 7.0.1075
unpack then useing a card reader copy & paste the folders to your dvrsmmc, remembering the system folder is hidden, then go to menu, myown, you should see R66 launch icon.

Can someone please post the Eastern Canada (e-cdn.prm) map for R66 if they have it. I looked everywhere for it and the closest I came to getting it was from a site that had a corrupt version :(

If someone has it or and of the other North American maps for R66, please post them.

I manged to d/l the s/w and maps correctly to the N70

The map is the Australian map d/l

Now it requests activation.........where or how do I achieve this.

All help will be greatly accepted

Hello

I am very confused about Route 66 mobile 7 working on the N80. I downloaded (from a link on this page) the rar package r66 3rd edition.

I copied all the files to my memory card and added the map to the map folder. Put the card in my phone and it installed... now i need activation code?

Lots of people said they cant find any that work on N80, mine obviously does but just need to activate. Can anyone help?

P.S. I upgraded my firmware last night to v4.0623.0.41 not sure if that helped or not.

I have an N80. I have downloaded ROUTE66 7 3rd version. But i can't install it.
I tried to run Mobile7.0.1050.s.sis file but it gives me an error message like this "this setup not supported".
I am new on N80.
Can anyone tell me full way to install it please.

Yea, I'm having the same problem.
I haven't found the download link for Mobile 7.0.1075 where I can just copy and paste into a memory card. I probably overlooked.

I'll check again.

PS: 7.0.1075 works on the Nokia N80 right? I have the latest firmware V 4.0623.0.41

Ok, latest problem I've encountered.
I copied the files for Mobile 7.0.1075 using my card reader.

I insert the miniSD back into my N80. I see the "Mobile7" icon in My own folder. However, when I open it ... i see a welcome screen but it immediately exits by itself (I don't have enough time to read what it says. Something like "Welcome to ...").

Even it doesn't, there's always TomTom 6. I hear that TomTom 6 for N80 will be out sometime September.
Not sure how reliable the source is ...

Sorry guys can!t help with activation, there is nothing available yet for 3rd edition fones. I have tested on N/6680 only & all works fine.

Yeah I found them on the site listed below too, unfortunately downloading them seems to be limited now due to abuse and worse, the Eastern Canada map (one I need) is no longer there.

We have to inform you that a new version, ROUTE 66 Mobile 7 S60 v2/3, that was launched on the 26th of June is compatible with Nokia N80. The version is 7.3.468.

Please note that Nokia has just published a new SW release 4.0623.0.41 for Nokia N80. This version is the one that fixes the Bluetooth problems with GPS modules like the one of ROUTE 66.

I had this problem also on E60. This is wierd but they told me to copy all my SMS messages to another folder thus emptying the sms inbox. It worked and the splash screen came up and then had to activate the product. Once this was done the SMS inbox could be re-used again.

Hello all.

I have a nokia n70 and tried to install route 66 on it.
The thing is, i can't!!!

I've tried a lot of things but none seems to work.

I tried installing route 66 v7.0.1075 sis file (page 15) and nothing.
Tried installing route 66 7.0.1075._Athems_prm (page 14) which i think is just copy in to the mmc, and nothing.

I always get the message: "Resource files are missing.Please reinstall the application", and i get 2 icons for the route application.

I have a 1gb card with just this, so i think memory is not the proble...

Can anyone help me here??

Where can i geta working copy and how do i install it?

I guess its Symbian s60 version 3...
I tried installing tomtom on it but no success...

Would it be possible to install this Route 66 - 7.0.1075 version on it??
Though I tried previous versions of Route 66 but couldnt make it work..

After hearing what Dom Jolly said, I decided I'd try Route 66 again.
(I previously deleted it off my minSD)

So I copied the files to my miniSD correctly, reinserted it into my N80.
The Mobile7 icon won't show in the My Own folder!
I've try restarting the phone, still won't appear ...

Why?

What is the point of trying installing ROUTE66 on Symbian 9.1 v3 since you cant pass the activation screen and you can not run the software?
Just to waste your memory space by installing it?

There is no crack and no bypass available, for two months now. Check previous posts.

Well, i had an improvement in my quest for the route :)

I copied the mentioned version to my card, with the athens map and the thing opened.
I tought "Hurray!!".

Then, copied the map i use (iberia), opened route 66, changed the map, and...

Nothing!!

It never worked again...

How do you add other maps to route? Just copy them to the maps folder, correct?

Again, does anyone have a working version of route 66 7.0.1075 that can put here to download?
Just to try a different one.

Nothing atm.
My options are Route 66 or TomTom, cause I have Australian maps for them.

I think I'll wait for TomTom for S60V3. Just a one or two month wait :rolleyes:
