First try to restart application and re plug the donmgle.
if you always get retriing error on CF75 you may try the alternative test point like in CX75/S65 ( red needle if SST 3 in 1 cable is used is needed )

Well this particular fone....cant be connected at normal baud rate at com port.One has to use usb to serial converter and maximum speed allowed by port.Tested for many handsets by now.May be SST team will sort it out soon.

For "Boot Password" method please read carefully the instructions in the pdf file.
If Sim card emulator mode does not start ,remove battery and switch on the phone again.
