Question to Dreambox team:
Why should we buy Dreambox, instead of e.g. Martech Box? :)
Does dreambox have any important features Martech does not have?

What about MAP files? Is possible uploading ORIGINAL Siemens MAP files?
And with all these, i can only see another SWAP box.......may be SST.

Time will tell us Eko but I think GsmServer has showed us how to begin and people at the begin only thought at other products and now everyone love SmartClip. Give them sometime and you will have a DreamBox too.I think this is not a SwapBox, they are releasing this showing what can do now and trying to do an effort. No promises. Did you see any promise?This team work without promises as I saw in all this year

MAP files support will be added shortly. Maybe without original ones, don't know for sure.

All versions mate. I think this box is going to be a true competence to the other product :) They never said this box is the best siemens tool but for sure they will show what are they capable to do by updates and not words. I don't like to compare products but check history of SC, they started with some models and working they became masters on that brand

But Martech for me works 100% .Also many updates and good support site

Hi ****, nobody is saying to buy. This is volunteer. I was going to buy that but I decided again to try with a non usual box after having a bad experience and I think I got the alternative. Everyone can decide what do they prefere. No one said this box is better or worst, they show the features and now you can decide.

To anyone who has dreambo: How is testpoint working? Is the testpoint thing built-into the box, so it's only one box, with data cable, and testpoint cable in one?
Is testpoint pictures automaticly shown when using testpoint mode?
This might be the wrong forum to ask - but does any Dreambox users who previously used Martech know anything that is missing in Dreambox?
TP is cable, in the box you have two RJ45 slots. One for data and service for TP adapter. When you load the software you select the phone and you can found schema and TP picture as well as techincal info about the phone.
I would like to answer lastest question but it's not possible to me.

It seems to me that this tool could live only if papuas stops with his ruining of sst and martech,and he;s not thinking about it.
Gsmserver are the only one in gsm scene that fully respect their customers,and give support on time,so you can be sure this will be the box with best support on the market:)

If anything is sure, it's that Martech fully respects his customers. Of all people in this business, i respect NSdongle team, and Martech the most. Thats why it's hard to switch to Dreambox, cause i'm very happy with Martech's support.
The only reason i'm considering it is because i have already sold my old box, and is about to buy a new one...

All Kidding aside folks...
As an avid pc enthusiast and Having purchased Tens of Thousands of dollars of pc equipment and now telecom equipment, on Ebay and other merchants on the web for well over 10 years, I Like to think I know a thing or two about product and support...
I can say with out ANY hesitation that UnlockCellular/NSDongle Team is EVERYTHING that most merchants/unlock Solutions are not. In that I mean they actually commit to their word and offer REAL support AFTER the sale. I dont know about you, but It means a lot to ME to know when I order something that it will be exactly as I ordered it or it will be fixed immediately. I can't say enough about these guys.

i have had martech for years and i buy this box to . i have more than 1 solution for different things as some boxes are better than others in certain areas.
I am happy with this box .;)
but if it is such a great tool and Dream Box promises the best support why we are asking questions and nobody from DreamBox anwseres??????
what kind of support is this ...... looks like saras or wray's software!!!!
ex. i like very much this users "SC_Support" or "Elco"
i would like for my two next questions an user called "DreamBox" to reply

CORRECT. They work without testpoints with versions higher than 36.
cOcO, maybe the problem is that people are not waiting to the answer and if it was answered they have to repeat again.
1. Maybe because they have to find out a method to unlock them using TP adapter included. Product was released less than a month and it's not easy to start for coder and for product.
2. Boot-Loader support is for Dreambox as well as for SmartClip and it's around 4GB of flash files and will grow for sure.

DreamBox is based on solution allowing to support S-Gold based phones without disassembling. As for cutting tracks - they are needed for a number of E-Gold models.
2. and how many GB of flash files, eeproms, languages do you have in your support server .... if you have one?????? You can see our files here: www.boot-loader.com (http://www.boot-loader.com/?path=&sub=dreambox) (~4Gb). Base constantly renews and grows. We are frequently renovated this resource. Anyway, if there is no some needed file, you can leave your request (http://dreambox.hk/forum/) and we will add it to the site.

You can download files from Dreambox section without connected Dreambox or Smart-Clip. You just have to be registered and logged in :)
