You can use the high ver logomanger to read , and <br />use the FBUS cable

well i'm using latest logomanager and Fbus datacable and sec code reads: Unavailable.<br />so is netmonitor not active feature.... the cable is mbus,fbus....<br />so Roger let us know wich sort of cable are u using and wich version of logomanager,<br />Regards: Vato

i am using logomanager 1.25 i have no luck, you must have special version, thats not made for us!!!

Yeah!!! <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> ,,that's what i reckon cause i tried with logo manager, all dif. ways and not a chance, mbus,Ir,fbus,...u name it.<br />So any one can tell me the difference between the usage of the data cable and the Ir?<br />Cause in my case whatever i can do with the Ir I can do with datacable,,,,,so guys don't even bother to buy cable if u have pc with Ir port...<br />-----------------------------------------<br />My 2 cents worth

you are wrong, the IR port is an FBUS I/f for general user interaction between user and handset for management tasks, eg phonebook, diary, logo and tones updates.

To access service functions you need an MBUS cable, this allow greater and more direct access to special functions, it may not read the sec code, but it can reset it to 12345.

newer phones that are made for BUSINESS user ,can not have the sec code cleared or reset if entered incorrectly after 5 attempts without the original sim in the handset, or unless you directly modify the eeprom contents by reading the flash, clearing the sec counter, and writing it back.

i recently tried logomanager 1.2.5 it says in the help documents that it can only connect with 8310 via Ir only. so no cable for the moments. wheather mbus/fbus or a bus u ride to schools.. all won't works.. btw, even with Ir. logomanager can't see the sec code.. 8(

JIC box claims to be able to clear it.

i can't verify this as i tried neelix 1.18b and it would not reset dct4 nokia 6310 security code!!! It could be that it needs a modified MBUS cable.
