The phone original software was V16 whitch isn`t on the support site! Can I repair this phone with dreambox or not?

Contrast adjust is not possible with dreambox...
You have to use a Contrast- Tool ... one is avalible at : www.gsmdev.de
(dont worry... site is in english ;) )
Try the x55 Contrast Tool... you´ll need a com-port cable. Or USB witch is installed as virtual Com-Port.

sir, today i try to flash A60 model (no power) using 1.24 version, after succesfully flashing, the screen appears to be in white color, so i used the contrast setting control, but it cant fix the screen into its normal color, also the counter begin only at 0 up to 30 , but in SST Cracked , the counter begin in 0 up to 100, well,i fixed the contrast using the cracked SST. what seems to be the problem on the software, is it a bug?

thats the only problem ive seen so far on your software.
sorry for my english,

thanks

Just tried to fix the contrast on a MC60 as it was a blue screen after flashing!

As it was the first time I used the contrast option, was unsure of the scale of the contrast, so was adjusting it from lowest to high, til I found the right contrast which I did, but after disconnecting and restarting phone, it will return to white, so i tried again connecting phone in service mode and the contrast was correct, again i disconnect restart phone and again white. so and so on.

What is the correct proceedure on setting the contrast with DBSS on a phone so it remembers the setting?

Hi. The correct procedure of adjusting a contrast is:
1. Power ON the phone.
2. Connect the phone to DreamBox.
3. Run Enter Service Mode.
4. Adjust the value of the contrast.
5. Run Save Display Settings.
6. Run Exit Service Mode.
07heaven, please, try to enter the value of the contrast on MC60 approximately 048. Must be OK. :) We will fix this problem.

Thats the proceedure I was doing,
Phone on
Service mode
Adjust
Save
Exit

and it would keep returning to a very pail screen after I restart the phone!

Please, try value from 0 to 126.
