Hi, anyone have solution for mt v3688 can't power on??????????? :mad: :mad: :mad:
Can you tell me the operation current?

hi Bert, i have two units of MT v series, one is v3688 suddenly power off then can't power on again, another one is v3690 after in car chager then the phone is dead. i use hot air to **** the power ic but also cannot get it alive. can you help me for this problem?
is sw or hw problem.
p/s: i have emmi box.

YOu have to connect the external power the see the current , if the current is blinking
(about 30-80 ma) you have to change Flash I.C
but you must be sure that Gcap is ok.

Hello Bert...
For V3688 I think first of all u check the Flash contents. may b it curropted...
For V3690 I must say one thig. U say that it was dead bcos u'd put it in Car charger... I think by doing this there must b damage in Step up Inductor Diode (Total three parts... one is look like coil Marked with KO7, second look like Red Capacitor and third is Diode).. I'ven't any Pic of 3690 other wise i'll show it on Pic.

To: Bert how to comfirm gcap ic is ok. Where can i buy the flash ic?????

To confirm the GCAP is good or not it will be a bit dificult <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> usually you can use the multimeter to check the capacitor beside the GCAP <br />dose it have the 5 V output,and when you power on the phone for a while (few seconds) use fingers to touch i.c surface,usually if I.C is damaged or shorted it will be hot.
