View Full Version : V36xx Motorola
Hi, all.
I hope someone can help me on this.
I had several motorolas with irritating background noise, some on 900Mhz some on 1800Mhz.
Is there a repair possible, where i must look ?

Hello
That just caused by a simple problem you just need to change the GCAP ( 79Exx xx will be 26 ,27 56 etc ) . after you change it your problem will be solved ! good luck!
** GCAP is the uBGA chip left side of the RAM

Yes,
9IJ
N6KI
P79E26
Is the correct one , well the hot air gun could
be help you to do such reflow, I think you gona get some scrap board to do some exercise first
Thanks, Bert
Ill practice before..
Could this BGA could be the cause of
finding no Network too ?
I have a v3690 too with no network.
Flash is ok.
Thanks
Mod.
Hi
Your are welcome usually Gcap has no relation with network signal , There are few parts are relate for frequency, saw filter,Magic, duplxer and TCXO , but sometimes it also will caused by wrong flash (e.g v3690 reflashed with v3688 data ) it will lost all MMI parameter . you have to do the trouble shooting for above items.
Thanks
It could be wrong unlocking.
I flashed it with V3690 flash, but problem remains.
Does this restore MMI parameter?
Its new phone but not unlocked by me.
