1) i have installed IM+ on my nokia 3230,:) the problem is i can only recieve messeges from any one who is online :confused: and when i write and then send messeges to other ,they are not recieved at the other side, so this problem is with all IM+ services like yahoo,msn,icq, so please tell me what is the reason,why others can not recieve my replys,:)


2)is there any software for amplifying the nokia 3230 ringtones sounds,bcaz its orignal sound is not loud,and i have to use .wav tones yes they are loud but the quality is bad,

How should I do ? I use 6600, and the folder c:\system\codecs, i copied it also into e:\system\codecs and still not works. :confused:

Hi, I found a solution for my N6680

1st) Using your phones manager delete the zi application that you installed

2nd) Using File manager or similar application go to c:System/data/zi and delete this folder.

3rd) install text app attached and register with 00000

This worked for me, I hope it works for you.

How to reset/reformat a phone


It may happens that a program corrupts the C: drive of your phone. In such case, some data can be lost of course but, more annoying, some applications may not work or work only partially,...

On a Series 60 based phone, two key sequences will allow to restore your phone to a cleaner state:

Normal Reset (*#7780#) : Restores ini files from rom but preserves user data (photos, 3rd party apps etc)

Deep Reset (*#7370#) : This reformats completely the C: drive. All applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten.

In both case, the phone will ask you a confirmation and you will have to enter a security code (12345 by default).

Files and applications stored on E: drive are not be affected by these sequences.




Useful helps : Full phone formatting a 6600! Here to let everybody how to perform a Full phone formatting on a 6600! If you encounter situation like below on your 6600, 1. Blank screen phone unable to reboot. 2. Phone only able to boot-up to "Nokia" word screen. 3. Install some program but not able to uninstall it after that. 4. Unable to delete unwanted files on C drive. Do a Full phone formatting on your 6600! as steps below, 1. Make sure you have at least 3/4 charge of battery power left. 2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card. 3. Switch-off your 6600 phone. 4. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to swtich on the 6600 phone. Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show! 5. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your 6600 will back to original system and factory settting

well take note that your phone is a 2nd edition S60 phone but it supports

well i guess this software are only mend for certain phones, well from the sfotware site that i took it from, it did not state about the buttons needed, just only this important part....((to activate push to talk from network provider(if providing) and must have that application installed in your series60 phone.))

about registry repair i have not yet come across a software like that to repair our registry and you are right!! It's true at times if we delete certain software on our phones, it does affect our phones in term of speed or accessing thru other softwares.. something to really think about and solve...

Regarding about Natural Recoder and Spycall, it's a so called " must do ability" to have the beep sound,alot have asked about this problem too but when you try all those available application that records call, all of them will have this irritating sound. i believe it's an unavoidable issues and something someone must bear when using this application...:)

I know how you free, when i use a recoder software the first time, i thought my phone went nuts and when to my service provider and asked for helped until they reformatting my phone totally till when i reinstall the software i realise it was the recorder that was causing the problem from day 1. All the trouble just to find one fault!!:( Haha but that was the past..

well bro, not need a guide, just follow these simply steps:)

firstly get yourself a bluetooth adapter, then send over the application files (sis format) from your com thru bluetooth to your nokia phone.. once the file is send over, it should be recieve by the Msg inbox, from there simply open up the software that is being send over and it will automatically do the rest(installation process) :) :) Hope this will help...

well here's a ways to solve your problem...well firstly, you can call the person that you rejected and the blank msg that you sent over, asked him/her if him/her has recieve the message.. well if they have then it's no big issue cause it's working and nothings wrong..

well i have used sms assistance for my 6600 before and the same problem happened but it's really nothing, cause it's a blank msg to you that you send but a real stated msg to the other person..

well i believe in power call you can state what msg you would like to send automatically over to the rejected caller right??:)

anyway just wondering what country are you found, 6620 was a dream phone to me but arggzz it didn't come to my country so i had no choice but to get 6600..haiz :( ..anyway it was the past...hoped i helped you.. :)

When I open the Gallery,it takes time then after that when I open the Images or video file under Gallery, it take time also to open. Before I had 6630 but that was very fast in opening the folders. Is it o.k. for N70 or I have some probem. It happen only when I select gallery and image/video files.

I don't quite understand your question. What procedure are you looking for? If it's to speed up the opening time, I don't think there's such a program ard. I suppose the only way would be a hardware change e.g. say a faster processor, but that's just a thought.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing when I upgraded from my 6230. I figured that, when I turn my phone on now I just open the gallery and leave it open in the background. That way whenever I open it from then on, it loads in half a second or so.

find attached a copy of Winrar 3.51. Its NOT an evaluation version. Simply unzip them all into 1 folder, open a Dos window and run the .BAT file in the last zip to merge the 4 files together into 1 .EXE file. Then run the executable to install Winrar 3.51.

i think unlike the phone before it, if we open the gallery it always reloading all the files that can be opened form the gallery, you'll notice it if you open the image files it always reload the image every time you open the gallery, unlike my old 6630 it just reload the picture when we first time open the gallery except thre's new file to view so it make the phone kinda slower...

really don't know what more I can do. I've just downloaded my OWN files, unzipped them with winzip 8.0 (release 3105), opened a Dos window, ran WINR.BAT and it spliced the 4 files together. I then ran the newly created file called "WinRAR 3.51 Corporate Ed.exe" onto a machine with no previous version of winrar installed and it worked absolutely fine. The machine is running Windows XP professional with SP1 installed.

I've installed this program before on at least 4 machines with no issues. Either its your O/S or the earlier version of Winrar that's messing it up for you. All I can suggest is that you provide ME with your preferred utility to break down the file into 4 parts (its 1082Kb in size) and I'll re-post it for you.

As requested. A copy of QuickOffice is attached to this and the following post (5 file limit), although it is version 2.1.3, not 2.2.3 as my text file stated. This was one of the first products I wanted and consequently I have about 6 different cracked versions of the QuickOffice 2.1.3 Suite, plus individual cracks for each of the three products (Quickword, QuickSheet & Quickpoint). Some worked, some didn't.

I'm pretty sure this is the copy I installed on my phone, but if it doesn't work for any reason let me know & I'll post a different version.

ur problem only be solved by transfering the whole contacts to any newer mobile like 7610, 6630 they habe mobile transfer in it by the company to get the contacts from older phone the main problem of 6600 suite is that is really hard to get it run but all other phone can be run on standard PC Suite's so u transfer the number any new phone and connect it with PC Suite and synchronize it with outlook and print the whole with any printer.

Step 2. Then send the FontRemover.sis to your phone and install it. Once installed, launch the application and it should ask you if you want to delete font. Click on Yes and it should tell you to reboot your phone. Do NOT reboot first.

Step 3. Now send one of the font sis/gdr files, lets say modern.sis to your phone and install it to your C drive (your phone, NOT mmc). Once installed then reboot your phone.

Step 5. When it starts, you should see the default fonts replaced by the ones you have just installed.

Now I cant stress this more but you need to understand that you can only use ONE FONT at one time. If you want to use another font, you will have to go back to step 3 & 4.


As for the .gdr files, you will need to do it this way.

Step 1. Use FontRemover to remove the fonts.

Step 2. Open FExplorer and goto C:\system and create a "fonts" folder as shown below.



Step 3. Send the .gdr file to your phone. Do not open it as it will say unknown file format.

Step 4. Find the file in your mail folders (C or E:\system\mail\00001001_S\0-9, a-f) using FExplorer.

Step 5. Copy or Cut the file and then paste it to the C:\system\fonts folder.

Step 6. Exit FExplorer and then reboot you phone.

well for this method, it has work well on my 6600 which had a ver 4.0 firmware but not on my 7610 which had a firmware of v6.0525.0ch.. i'm not sure why but good luck anyway if you are planning to do so..Just follow the steps given and you should have no problem...

you should give it a try.. i have never encounter or done something like that before, what i only know is that phone is able to be used as a webcam.. To send data over to a 6600 is only thru a bluetooth adapter but for a bluetooth mouse i am not too sure... you can give it a try..no harm to it...

Try using the PCSUITE & transfer the contacts to computer...U will get all contacts in microsoft outlook & then can easily take printout

The client program runs in a Series 60 phone, in the foreground or in the background. The program is able to connect to a Bluetooth GPS receiver and transmit the received GPS location data (NMEA-0183) in real time to a central database via GPRS.

You don't even need necessarily to have as many GPS receivers as tracked mobile phones, if a lower accuracy suffices and there are only a few places or standard routes you want to have recognised. The location of the mobile phone can also be determined by the network cell id, which identifies the cell tower the phone is connected to.

You can configure the timers and events, which trigger the data send action. The data is sent in a compact UDP datagram, only a little over 100 GPRS bytes per message. This means that the data transfer costs are minimal compared to e.g. SMS and the communication transactions are very fast.

Location tracking system

The central database can be a powerful SQL engine, which handles hundreds of mobile tracking targets. (Depending on the tracking frequency and resolution.) The database accumulates position data from the mobile phones being tracked. Each record in the database is identified by the IMEI code of the phone the data belongs to.

The location data is collected to an industry standard SQL database. This makes it straightforward to integrate with the rest of your company data systems.

If you are not using a GPS receiver, you must first create a mapping from the network cell ID to a geographical location. Unless you get the cell tower location lists from your mobile operator, you can collect the data yourself by driving around the places you want to have recognised by the system and have Aspicore GSM Tracker and a Bluetooth GPS to record the GPS coordinates of the network cells.

When the system is eventually being used, the mobile will report its network cell information to the system server by using Aspicore GSM Tracker. The server compares the network cell information to the accumulated data and converts it to an estimated geographical location. This way you can track your sales representatives, delivery men, children etc without them needing to carry a GPS receiver with them.

How to evaluate?

The central database solution is not included, but customers can use Aspicore's test server in the Internet for evaluation and testing. The test server can also be used to evaluate the network cell based positioning. Collect first the cell locations along your daily routes with a Bluetooth GPS and then try positioning without a GPS receiver! This is a more affordable and a real-time alternative to operator based mobile phone positioning.

Server interface and tools

Aspicore GSM Tracker sends data to the server as plain ASCII characters in an UDP datagram. You can write the receiving end program yourself by using UDP sockets, if you wish. NEW: You are free to use the sample Perl scripts or Java code to process the UDP datagrams and store them to a MySQL database. You can also use our Aspicore UDP Server tool. Http data from S60 v2.xx or S80 can be processed as shown in our PHP and ASP samples. There is a freeware Windows .NET PC utility to receive NMEA datagrams via UDP and send them to a standard GPS moving map program through COM ports.

Yes Jeton_islami..samj is right...just install a registered ver2.76 first, then followed by ver3.11...you can find what you want by using the search icon on top... If you still need any help, pls do approach this thread again..thanks..

well jeffv6600, what you can do is to totally uninstall/remove your smartmovie from your phone...simply reinstall ver2.76 and make sure you are able to register both the convertor and your smart movie...once you are done with it, install ver 3.11..

doing this steps, you should be able to have your smart movie ver3.11 already registered...

What Browser r u using?? IF u r using OPERA it can be true becoz opera needz alot of advanced seting configurations in dealing with Scripts n Java!! but if ur using Fire Fox 1.5 u shouldint get any problem or mayb ur behind a fire wall!! and if u are using Windows XP Service pack 2 u better re adjust ur fire wall settings or disable ur fire wall completely and download ur file then enable ur fire wall again!!
and try to enable Java scripts!! in the browser ur usin im using Fire fox 1.5!! works fine

I don't think they is a smart movie ver3.11 that is 100% working..so you have have to use the old method which is to get an older version which is ver2.76 with a working keygen..

Install it and make sure everything is registered and ok, after that simply install the new 3.11 over to replace it..doing this manner, you won't have to register for ver3.11..

It works for my 6600 as well as 7610:)

By getting access to such information user him/herself can predict shall the weather change or will it remain the same.The source of the satellite images is EUMETSAT. Use: After starting the MIDlet user gets a menu from which he can choose 2 views of the satellite images, settings, help or information about the MIDlet (Picture 1). First option provides animation of the 8 satellite images taken in the last 4 hours. Viewing weather development through a longer time interval can help user predict weather be like in the next couple of hours. After requesting data (Picture 2) and choosing connection type (Picture 3) downloading animation to the mobile device takes a while. The second option on the menu allows user to view the latest available satellite image.This satellite image is being refreshed every half an hour so the data user gets describes current weather conditions pretty accurately (Picture 4). Displayed image after choosing Last Image Picture 5. Saving new image settings The third option are the settings where user can choose the size and quality (resolution) of images displayed. It is recommended to choose the settings first, before requesting satellite images. Image size can be set as small or normal and image quality as low, medium or high. By choosing smaller picture with lower quality download time for the file is reduced and vice versa. If using default setting (size "normal" and quality "medium") it will take about 80 seconds to download image animation and 20 seconds to download last image (depending on the quality of connection and device). It is necessary to save new settings after altering them (Picture 5). Installing MIDlet on a mobile device: There are several ways of installing MIDlet on a mobile device, depending on Internet access possibilities and mobile device features. 1. Download to the mobile device directly from wap or html pages It is necessary to establish Internet connection with a mobile device. If the device can access html pages user types address http://orson.rasip.fer.hr/~kmodric/satellite and chooses download .jar and .jad files. If the device does not support html user can access wap pages (satellite.wml). After downloading these files user can start using MIDlet. 2. Transfer of files from computer or another (mobile) device using IrDA or Bluetooth (recommended) MIDlet can be transferred from one to another (mobile) device using IrDA or Bluetooth if both of the devices support it. All that is necessary is having .jad and .jar files on one of those devices. For example one can download .jad and .jar files from html pages to notebook and afterwards transfer them to the mobile device using IrDA. Emulator: Before trying MIDlet on a mobile device user can check its functionality on a cell phone microemulator on this web page. For microemulator test user must have installed JVM from Sun jre 1.4.2 or higher.
