Phone point does not work on N-GAGE QD, It does work in trial version. But when you install the patch file by BiNPDA. U see error "Phone Point App Closed" And you never find it working.

Download these 3 files, unzip them and you will have 4 files (WMAP.1,WMAP.2,WMAP.3 and WMAP.BAT). Run the WMAP.BAT file in a DOS window to merge them together into a single .ZIP file. In this zip file you will find 2 versions of WMAPLUS, namely version 1.20 and 1.25. I have version 1.20 installed and works fine but 1.25 was ****** by the same persion(s) so I would try that version first. I use a OGG player so I haven't had reason to upgrade my WMA player to 1.25 yet.

i need a software let me forwarded SMS automaticaly to a special Number somthing like divert that redirect a call up to a special No. if it can delete the SEND Items it would be great, i need it to use on symbian 7 (Nokia 6600)
eg i recive a sms ,then the application send it(forward) sms to a special number and wrks on 6600,as i see flxispy,advanced call manager or somthing like that ofcourse registered /full version.

Download these 3 files, unzip them and you will have 4 files (WMAP.1,WMAP.2,WMAP.3 and WMAP.BAT). Run the WMAP.BAT file in a DOS window to merge them together into a single .ZIP file. In this zip file you will find 2 versions of WMAPLUS, namely version 1.20 and 1.25. I have version 1.20 installed and works fine but 1.25 was ****** by the same persion(s) so I would try that version first. I use a OGG player so I haven't had reason to upgrade my WMA player to 1.25 yet.

It's very simple actually. You need to have unpacker like WinZip or Total Commander for multi-purpose. Just open first file in row, like: Opera8.60part1.rar and click extract, it will extract part of file from other archives aswell.

According to the Mid Day Indian Daily, a virus bearing the name of the bestseller book has infected dozens of phones in India.

The virus spreads via wireless Bluetooth technology, and causes a message to pop up on Bluetooth devices: ‘Receive message via Bluetooth from Da Vinci Code?’

The malicious code is extremely dangerous, once the message is accepted, all the data on the phone being destroyed.

The only way to get rid of the Da Vinci Code virus is to format the phone and to reinstall the software.

As it always happens when viruses use different movies and books to spread, users are curious to see what’s behind the cryptic messages and they accept data transfers.

“The Da Vinci Code name actually excited me. I assumed the file was either an MMS clipping or a still and accepted it,” Mridul Sharma,
an operations manager, told Mid Day.

“I received the virus on my laptop and phone. Apparently my Bluetooth device was active. The technician who repaired my phone told me this was a common virus, which had simply been renamed The Da Vinci Code to attract the users,” said 35-year-old Sanjay Menon.

Abhishek Datta, a software expert, said, “Once a phone is affected, formatting is the only option. You cannot retrieve your data.”

- Reinstall infected programmes

* Monitoring the Communication channel(both Telephone & SMS), so you can check the log of communication made by either theif or when you give the device to your friend, even if they clear the log before giving the device to you. This is turned off by default. Can be turned ON using the user interface.
The main advantage of the software is how it cheats the third parties from knowing the existance of the software. Even the SMS oriented commands send to the software from another device by the owner are not seen outside.

The software product is customer oriented and built such a way that,

'Theft' is a program for Nokia Series 60 mobile phones that works as a safe protection from being lost or stolen.

What is Theft?

?Theft’ starts automatically as the phone is turned on, and then always keeps detecting whether the phone is turned off in a wrong way, or your SIM Card is changed. It also keeps checking messages arriving for an activation text you previously defined (See the "SMS text to attack" in Program Settings section). Then ?Theft’ will attack the thief in three ways:

With a permanent text on the screen saying that ?THIS MOBILE IS LOST OR STOLEN’ along with any other text you provide; such as your name and contact telephone number.
The phone will send messages to a list of recipients you created for ?Theft’ to inform you that the phone is locked (It will also inform you of the new SIM number if someone has changed your SIM Card.).
A very loud long siren will sound from the phone alerting people in the vicinity and disturbing the thief.
THE THIEF WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FORMAT THE PHONE AS FORMATTING REQUIRES A LOCKCODE (THAT YOU CAN CHANGE FROM THE PHONE SYSTEM SETTINGS) AND FOR THE THIEF TO DO THIS IT WILL TAKE SOMETIME AND THAT TIME WOULD BE THE ENOUGH TIME FOR 'THEFT' TO LAUNCH.

How will the thief be affected?

The thief changes the SIM; this requires powering off or rebooting the phone. Of course that will happen without the thief turning ?Theft’ off first as the thief does not know the code you used to ?Turn off? ?Theft’. The result will be that the next time the phone is powered on, ?Theft’ will enter attack mode; will show the display, will send messages to the phone numbers in the ?Recipients? list and will emit the warning alarm tone.
The thief changes the SIM; assuming you have set the ?Attack on SIM change? field to ?Yes?, the next time the phone is powered on ?Theft’ will detect that the SIM has been changed and will enter attack mode, and will carry out the same actions as above including sending the details of the new SIM card in the text message. Even if the thief subsequently re-inserts the original SIM, the attack will repeat when the phone is powered on and will continue to do so until the phone is "Unlocked" with the required code.
The thief does not change the SIM card and you send a text message from any other mobile phone to your phone containing text you provided in ?SMS text to attack? field.
There is only one way to turn the phone back to the normal mode; you must press ?Unlock? and then you must enter your valid ?Turnoff code? the same code that you provided to ?Theft’ in the ?Application? page of the ?Program settings? section.

o create a new filter use 'Add filter' submenu. You can create 2 kinds of filters:

* Correspondent filter - in this filter you define a list of known spammers addresses. All messages coming from addresses listed here will be blocked by Best SpamKiller automatically (if this filter is activated and the filter behaviour is set to BlackList). In this filter you can list persons from your contacts book, groups of persons from your contacts book or simply custom phone numbers.
* Text filter - content filter allows you to filter out potential spammer messages. In Text field you should specify keyword or keywords that Best SpamKiller will try to find in all incoming messages. If they are found the message will be blocked (if this filter is activated and filter behaviour is set to BlackList)

As a text you need to specify an exact keyword you want to filter out! All spaces are counted as well. You can use a combination of some keywords in one filter, uniting them with '&'-character. If so, all keywords listed in a filter have to be found in target message for the message to be blocked automatically.

Example of text field:
o ****** - if '******' word is found in any place of the message then the message will be blocked
o ******&Order - if BOTH words '******' and 'order' will be found in any place of the message, in any order, etc, the message will be blocked (Message example: 'Preorder the cheapest ****** today! ...')
Hint: you can have any number of content filters. Best SpamKiller will apply all activated filters to the incoming message and if at least one filter blocks the message then it will be filtered out automatically.



You can set up behaviour for each filter. There are 2 types of behaviours:

* BlackList - Default one. If a sender address is found in Correspondent filter or a filter keyword is found in a message (content filter) then the message will be blocked.
* WhiteList - Good to be used when you want to use Best SpamKiller as a privacy tool. E.g. if Correspondent filter has WhiteList behaviour it will block all messsages from all senders except the ones listed in this filter.

Remember:you MUST activate a filter for it to be applied in filtering messages. To activate a filter, select it, press joystick or use menu 'Enable filter' command in the menu. To deactivate a filter press joystick again on an active filter or use 'Disable filter' command in the menu. 'Friends' filter is not an exception to make it work it must be activated as well.

To allow Best SpamKiller to analyse your incoming messages and filter spam you should turn it on. You can turn it off again any time if you want to stop Best SpamKiller activity

2) use filemanager, go to E:\system\mail and delet this folder, be shure there is nothing in this folder!
now go to c:\system\mail and copy this folder, go back to E:\system\ and paste this folder in there. Now go to your messages, go to settings, and change the setting from PHONE to MMC.
this way u can transfer all your messages from any MMC to another MMC !

What is MCFixer? well quite simply if you have ever managed to corrupt your MMC,
Format it NTFS/FAT32. You will find that the N-Gage just refuses to work with it.

This Symbian (.sis) app sits in your phones user memory (only 31k), should you run into problems
with your MMC, it is capable to rebuilding the entire partition table/Formatting it at a speed
that would make even Nokia envious.

Please Remember this is BETA software, so it could still contain a few bugs.
Make sure you read the instructions before you use it.

This software is developed and distributed for free. It's only goal is to help other
Nokia N-Gage users. Although it has passed some tests, by using the software you do so
at your own risk. In no event shall the author be responsible for any damages
whatsoever (for example, hardware and software damage, loss of data, or any other
pecuniary loss or any other real or consequential damages) arising out of the use or
inability to use this product. Please remember that this is a BETA version, which

Following are described the steps needed to carry through the memory card recovery:
Warning: Read all the steps before starting the procedure.

1&ordm; - Make sure that there’s no important data in the card that have no backup of
which in another physical media, therefore the card will be completely erased.

2&ordm; - The MCFixer came in a .sis installation file that can be installed from the
N-Gage application manager. For such, is necessary that .sis installation file be
copied for the N-Gage (memory card or internal memory). Any of the common ways of
transmission can be used (ie. send by mail, Bluetooth, memory card...). After
installation the .sis file can be deleted if needed.

3&ordm; - IMPORTANT: The MCFixer must be installed in the device's INTERNAL MEMORY (not
in memory card). In the current version it occupies only 31Kb, then this should not be
a problem. Any way, make sure that there’s available space for the installation.

4&ordm; - After the MCFixer installation, the program can be accessed from the device's
menu. When the program is opened the current selected drive can be seen in the status
bar (E.g.: "Current drive: E:"). Make sure that the selected drive is the memory card.
In the case it it's not, the correct drive can be chosen from menu:
"Options-&gt;Select drive". In N-Gage, E: is usually the memory card drive.

5&ordm; - The card restore process is done by the Wizard in 4 steps:
1 - Find card's first sector.
2 - Find card's last sector.
3 - Write card's boot sector
4 - Format card.
To start the wizard, select the menu item: "Options-&gt;Fix MC Wizard-&gt;Start wizard"
The application have another options that are mere informative and they do not modify
the device or memory card, except the item: "Options-&gt;Format drive" that obviously
formats currently selected drive and erases all its data.

6&ordm; - To execute each wizard step, select the menu item:
"Options-&gt;Fix MC Wizard-&gt;Execute". To cancel the wizard execution select:
"Options-&gt;Fix MC Wizard-&gt;Cancel". The execution can be cancelled in any step of
wizard, however, steps 1 and 2 do not modify the card. In the other hand, after the
step 3 execution the card is already modified and is recommended that wizard is executed
until the end.

7&ordm; - Close the MCFixer selecting "Exit" option and restart the device.

Hi all,

does anyone know if it is possible to save a web pages from Windows XP as a .HTM file and display it on a Symbian 60 phone (Nokia 6260) ?. I've got various applications on my phone for opening text files, spreadsheets etc but nothing [that I know of] that displays a web page by opening a file on the phone.

I've installed Opera Mobile but there doesn't seem to be a way to view HTM files, only connect to online web pages (I dont have internet access from my phone).

If I need to convert the web page from HTM I'm open to suggestions. Saving it as text screws up the layout. If I'm blissfully ignorant of an easy way to do it, tell me that too !!!.

How to start:

Hi all,

does anyone know if it is possible to save a web pages from Windows XP as a .HTM file and display it on a Symbian 60 phone (Nokia 6260) ?. I've got various applications on my phone for opening text files, spreadsheets etc but nothing [that I know of] that displays a web page by opening a file on the phone.

I've installed Opera Mobile but there doesn't seem to be a way to view HTM files, only connect to online web pages (I dont have internet access from my phone).

If I need to convert the web page from HTM I'm open to suggestions. Saving it as text screws up the layout. If I'm blissfully ignorant of an easy way to do it, tell me that too !!!.

-Yes u can.. Just save the html file in ur mmc and use file explorer to open the file..it will use the default browser to open the html file

Do this instruction to your phone :
In TO-DO in your menu.
Click Options ->New to-do note than follow this step :
1. Subject : Speed
2. Due date : 29/01/2005
3. Priority : High
Click Done
and the click Options one again -> New to-do note than follow this step :
1. Subject : Qoukie
2. Due date : 29/01/2005
3. Priority : Low
Click Done
at last click Options one again Mark as done Two of your Note and restart your phone...hopely you can feel this function.

Simple to prove that that instruction :
Every operating system has an qoukies that will be slow your system so, with that instruction the space of the qoukies will be decrease to your phone so your phone will be more stable and speed more...

You can prove by installed APPMAN or SYMBIAN SYSMAN to show how much memory more release than with no that instruction ok
