v7.0 kill a35 after unlok damage eeprom not use for this model
SST Team did u try to flash C62, MC60 with this version???? This is what I have found for 10min working with LONG WAITHING NEW version!!!!

....that these "update" is SH....T!!!! A70, if You try to write flash(or lng)...error beyond the end of file....others I just don't wona try...who nows what can be if I try to do any of Siemens phones....SST Team for sure don't now!!

... and until the new version , expand the utilisation time of the 6.86. For two days, when this "update" appeard I use only Joker and Papua.

I was gonna start a new thread with bugs in 7.0 but I see there is allready one.
I found the following:
A70 -- on reading info, goes to 33% then stops loading boot, on info check or read attempts. Works beautifully with 6.86.
MC60 -- read eep, saved it, then unlock. Gave wrong soft. Tried to write back eep, but eep/"write" button doesn't bring up any window. Wrote back eep with ver 6.86, but says bad eep. Turns out 7.0 didn't read eep correctly, so eep was corrupt. Unlock failed also b/c of comm problem. Ended up writing a different eep with 6.86 and unlock revived the phone.
It's clearly 7.0 has some communication bug, which is probably minor but has major consequences.
ALSO!!!! If I select the IMEI with the mouse after reading info, there is no "COPY" option in the right click menu, and had to use ctrl+C to copy out the IMEI. I'm not sure why there is a "select all" mouse right click option, since I never had to select the whole text. Just plain "Copy" to copy the selected text is more needed. It's just a different method of the text scroll object so it's not hard to implement.
I also propose that when EEP or full flash is read, an automatic filename could already be generated like: C65 xxxxx-xx-xxxxx verXX eep, or similar, and one would just have to click save.
Bugs reported here are already fixed we shall release the fixed version after we test it well.
Meantime please use SST v6.86

Hi sst team , i flashed a c72 with a full flash and the the software was suposed to do the eepr repair thus matching imei from OTP to the one in eeprom but this did not happen. I used 6.86 and it worked ..so please be kind and check it out . I do hope i am wrong

we know that it is in beta stage but it do not nean that it is not working! 2 moth is enough time to fix such horible bugs at list whis e-gold platform!

This bugs are simple to find if you conect some phones...
Maybe sst users could collect some siemens and send to ss-team for tests???
It has allowed to accelerate work on v7.??, alfa, beta, omega sst program.
I really wish you to repair all of bugs, but I see, that it goes too heavily.

The point I don't understand, what is the major difference between v6.xx, and v7.xx? Becouse if v7 were without any bugs, I don't see a such a big difference to start a new index as nr7. The only thing I can see is a cosmetic GUI change. And I expected that this "major" upgrade would be at least as good and rich in options as JOKER, or PAPUA.
My oppinion is , that the big new version nr 7 upgrade is just a tactical update, becouse some new free and payed programs like, Joker, and Dreambox are lightyears in front of SST.

when press unlock phone automatic power on then ask conect TP when connect TP click ok ask for power on again. Power on nothing heppen.

can't unlock c65 v12 m65 v16 with 7.00. at first time: test mode > booting > power off > power on at second time only test mode and power on... Unlock posibile only with 6.86 but only with testpoint.

Well... as i remember.. SST a couple of days were THE BEST, because was cheap and a very good tool! Now they are having troubles... and you guys are calling them SST&BUGS company.... just give them some time.. they are trying to solve the problems.

why ? because programmer of sst changed the GUI and got it all wrong ? And what was new to V7.0 anyway ? The only thing I can see si the GUI change and ofcourse all the BUGS in it. So let just stop making excuses and fix the software. And i'm sorry to say that the difference between DreamBox and SST is not that big. So once again: CAN I HAVE MY MONEY BACK ?

We have totally redesigned SST. We published the beta versions although there some bugs mainly in olf EGOLD models in order to support models and function not incluided in v 6.86.Till now the official version is v 6.86 which is stable. We advice all users use v6.86 and use v 7.0x for now only for the features not supported in v 6.86.It will be matter of 1 week only when v 7.xx stable version will be published in the support area
Good news....We'll be waiting for that version!!!!

SST try to fix som bug so just waite litel time and all will fixed ;)
today I just unlock 3 phones without any problem ... one CF62 one A75 and one CT65 ... untill now no problem found with unlocking in SST 7.0 at least for this 3 type of phones. Best regards all of u, alianu.
After 9 months use of SST, with the new version I can say, I can unock A52, A62, A70, CX70, and M65. Good Luck, that is something.
I didn't try flashing.

a little after flashing eeprom to egold phones (not tested sgold yet) like a56 a70 and a65 automatic repair after flash cannot detect the ignition of the phone
in other words it cant repair automatically after eprom flash you need to do it manually
til now everithing else looks fine
c62 unlock done it show in sst_c62 but the phone doesnot unlock ??????

i had similar problems and i was rehoted a cpu and it worked for me.
but now i had a same problem with c65 rehoted cpu, flashed it bu the bootcore imei is 356400YYYYYYY, and i can fix it with bootcoreimei fixer.

if the SST shows invalid imei it means probably a hardware problem. Please do not try to flash this phone unless you do not repair the hardware problem.
Sometimes rehot of the flash IC is enough .but sometimes it needs flash IC changing to repair this hardware problem

When I try to unlock A65 with cutted testpoint with SST v7.05 - status bar don't move. I try cut more and more - but nothing...
Then I try with v6.86 - my A65 unlock after first try...

...........it's good to see this version works on newest x65/x75 siemens but it erasing eeprom imei at x35 series, tested on c35 and s35......so be careful :D
i hope sst will remove this bug also :D

may be its a last bug .......

yep, 7.05 gives error on end of file while trying to write lp into phone. Otherwise I found it to work on all models I tried.
I'd also ask the model picklist box to be sorted alphabetically, so Model selection would be easier. Maybe also the scrolling display area could be also a bit larger and diplay software version and lp as well on all models?

SST team why don't you return to the old format like in 6.86 and add the new models that you intended for you update in 7.00?
And sorry to say, really sorry, that your progamming is not so good and I thought that you would improve with the passing of time but it seems I was wrong. I am sorry to say that I will put away your dongle next to the NEELIX clone.
And here are a few pointers before I go:
1. BUY as many Siemens phones as you can find
2. Test you software before relese to your buyers
3. Only call your tool profesional when YOU become one
4. For GODs sake put some new versions in the support area and all LP (i am happy that most of the flashes there have romanian language but I am sure not all your customers are from estern europe)
PS: as I said in a previous post" Can I have my money back?"

can you tell us what is the flash id of the phone?
This error may happen when the flash ic of the phone is damaged.

As we posted many times we plan to create a new support area.there the users can download many files after reregistration. this i s made because many users share their usernames.
our software is tested before releasing to the customers.
we released v 7.0x because there were some features to unlock new x65 x75 phones for 15 sec without opening so we adviced our customers to use it with SGOLD models only.Thats why the version is called test (beta) . We adviced our customers to use v 6.86 instead for EGOLD/EGOLD lite models.
cf110 said unlocked but still locked! only joker did it for me! shame? free soft against paid!
the software named "joker" copied our solution and loaders for EGOLD models. We have new loaders that will fix the problem reported by you with some new Benq EGOLD Lite models like Ax72 /Ax75 and cf110.These loaders will be updated after we reprotect them so it will not be so easy to be stolen from other software products like "joker" and other...
We remind to our customers that we were the first with solution for EGold Lite models like A70 and so on

and installer for v7.00 was available and it didn't say it is a BETA, it was an UPDATE not a beta version( i don't think even 7.06 is in the alfa stage)

you run the exe and saw that it starts ? By *** did you ever test a phone with 7.00 ? I wasted a full day with your "professional tool" untill i figured it out ...the Profesional tool was not working.

Hi,
Sst now works good, but sst canīt read good flashes of A76, and canīt write good to A76.
Other times some A76 results dead after unlock,
Any one, know how to revive this models

c75 killed whis sst 7.06 try 2 unlock goes timeout. now when press repair it read phone imea and soft stop. try 5 times. unlock also not work now. any ideas?

For Benq-Siemens Ax75/Ax72 and CF110 sometimes you may need to press unlock again.
Pleas, add loging to SST (time, operation, phone IMEI)

i just remembered the good old days when we used to have the regular sst egold, sst sgold, the problem started with marger,
SST 8.0 shold be release!
add all new phone in their appropriate platform and make it remain separete!
update sst help and testpoint, update sst ufsx, add flash and imei repair on c62 and cfx65
add support for new benq products!
that's my opinion!

at last i did it i have repaired all the cf75 killed in previous versions
but support section flash doesnt work i made a readout and repaired phones after flash but the max flashing speer i got to work with was 230400bps

As there is already v 7.10 and the beta versions are not used anymore this topic is closed.
