I downloaded an app that is a text file but has the extension .rar. How do i install it on my Smartphone which is a SPV 550?

Enable "show file extensions" on your pc... go to the file again (now you can see extension (.txt) ....change from .txt to .rar ..... win rar you must have on your pc..... extract and enjoy....
