check the 6 leg lamp and sound ic located at the front side near bottom, usually marked with DOB, also check the pinout connector, good luck
Thanks Genocite, Checked them out. Removed connector and cleaned pcb under it but no succes. Must be a short or something like it. If I compare it with a other C35i it looks like the leds are burning half power. Any other idea?

ooppss, i forget to say, have u change the six leg ic ? a broken ic with leaking light couldn't be solved by just open it and clean the pcb under it, u have to change it
I did not change the IC. There is no way for me to get a other one. Thanks, Peter.
The control signal to transistor is coming direct from CPU.Sorry...but seems you have to change it.
Genocite is right. I took the leg from the IC that feeds the leds off the pcb. Result: Leds are not burning but I still have the sound. On the input side off the IC I can measure a lamp signal off 1.75 volts. Conclusion: IC is broken.
