Yes I have an Idea

Try another battery , If the phone works ok with charge plug the fault must be in the battry cells.

If the phone turn off even with battery charger try to change the PA.

i checked the battery and the connection to the battery both are fine. The amazingly thing is that the phone works perfect when the charger is connected.

I think you should try another battery,

but if you're 100% sure that battery is ok, you should check if the PA is not working good, or if the GCAP II has some broken ball.
Also check the current drived by the phone with battery and with charger...

that's all I know

If you don't know what GCAP II is , you should read some Motorola Service manuals

Search them on Landys pages... I don't remember the URL, but you can find it on some old message on this board.

First, check the battery connector, if the battery connector is ok, try to reflash your phone white same version data.

Good luck.
