windows xp problem (works on every case):

create new user on windows, with limited permissions (not admin). run the usb-smart and ufs trough this new account, solves 100 out of a 100. this normally is caused by amd processors, specially a64.

to solve this for good, I already saw some situations..:

sound driver: with ESS, NVidia and AC`97 on-board sound controllers, reinstall drivers (new ones, downloaded from website). my pc was solved this way.

virus/worm: there are some types of virii that causes debug detected problem, normally worms. Panda and Avast are great for these cases, but you can only install one if the other one is not installed. if any av is already installed, try disabling it before trying to open sw.


keylogger: some keyloggers and asterisks reader causes debugger detected. uninstall all of them which remain resident.


there are more, but can´t remember now. i´ll post it later.

read vazgsm's suggestions....i think that's quite helpful in removing that dodgy debugger message.
