i don't think that your cable is build in adaptator because i have the same and it don't work with phones that need adaptator so you must have it.

it will make u a big headache .... time and money ... and you gotta program the chip as well ...
it saves u time and maybe money if you just purchase one from the reseller ..

I got mine from www.skystartrade.com , it says delok on it, but it works. The guy is in San fransisco.
