Help, Nokia 6600, newbie [Archive]

Hi, can someone help please.
I have a nokia 6600, I have downloaded an MP3 player to the phone.
Everytime I send an MP3 file it goes to my messages, and I have no room. Is there something I need to move the files to my memory card, and all it says is to move to Inbox, or My Folder, which are both on the phone. While I am on the MP3 subject, can someone also tell me what I need to have obviously Mp3's on memory card, and also to be able to use them as ring tones.

I had the same problem when i bought my first nokia phone which was also a nokia 6600. Ok first proceed into message settings,then other, change your memory in use to your MMC memory card. This will help you to take in bigger files using your MMC Card Memory space rather then your Phone Memory.

ok next thing is you wanna put music into your gallery folders right but can't thru your inbox right? Ok you need to download a FExplorer which you can do so in this forum. In your FExplorer you will be able to cut /copy and paste your music in your mail box into your folders in your gallery.

I will suggest you at this point get a Memory Card reader for your computer as it is much easier to transfer large number of data, just by simply placing your phone MMC card into the card reader and drag whatever items you want from your PC into your phone MMC card.You can also create folders for your pic and music in your mmc card which all later will automatically appear in your Phone gallery..:) :) This is the much easily and fsater way.

Well for Nokia 6600 to play mp3 as ringtone is not possible from what i experience..I tried a number of time but i can't do it myself,only the lastest phone starting from 7610 were able to do it..This i am not too sure cause it didn't work for me:(

Anyway hope you understand what i mean;) ;)
