Zulea, any possibilities to get this for USB-Smart?
This is impossible.SANYO V801SA is NOT a SE platform that's why LEAD already stated that it cannot be added as support on cruiser and i think neither to USB Smart...

i know this isnt usb-smart related, but perhaps someone can tell me how far off I am.
well i wonder if I could have some help then. I know how to get 6-digit service for V801SA for entering NVmemory.
Using QPST (qualcomm pst) [QPST requires 6-digit code to gain access to NVmemory], I can enter the phone's NVmemory and even change codes.
I don't suppose that the phone can be unlocked from here without flashing some code? I mean, I cant just change some values to unlock?
for example: i screwed up a v801sa before because i managed to change the 6-digit code from XXXXXX to nothing.
the commande was something like: sec_code ""
double quotes meant the code was changed to -NOTHING- instead of a six digit code. after that time, i couldnt use QPST because there was no 6-digit code and the software required any 6-digit code to gain entry to NVmem

According to Vygis page, the V801SA Sanyo Unlocker is an add-on for the LG tool. The LG is not SE based, but LG (LG3G anyways) is part of what USB-Smart unlocks.
New software - SANYO V801SA unlocker v1.16 SC is uploaded at support sites.
Software goes as free addon to LG software users and works with LG reg file.
It is beta version,so all comments about bugs are welcome.

MOTOROLA, SAMSUNG, PANASONIC and SIEMENS also are NOT SE platform!
i think u r right man
vygis toolbox was introduced as lg service software
and they did their job really well. they supported every lg model whether it was was se besed or qualacum based
and other boxes comparing to vygis will exclude some models on the basis that they are different that the suported platform, strage.....
but then again all the unlocking tools have got some good and bad aspects
vygis is good but charges to much for ad ons
i have always managed to kill lg 8330's with early updates from cruiser(haven't tryed the latest ones
and i have always managed to revive them with USB SMART
AND I THINK WE ALL SHOULD ADMIRE THE HARDWORK FROM ALL PEOPLE LIKE

AT THE END OF THE DAY THEY ALL DO THEIR BEST FROM THEIR END AND US AS A HUMAN KIND CAN NEVER BE SATISFIED AND HAPPY

i agree with you too chowdary! these solution providers put much work into their tools. Perhaps I will be at that stage in a few years, I think I must have about 10 papers due for university right now.
i just really dont want to buy vygis. I dont need a tool that does primarily LG and alcatel (seeing as how usb-smart already does alcatel); i have never even seen an alcatel phone!
