is power key working well. if it is then first check vol keys(or any other key permanet pressed,this also the cause of keyboard freezing).

Remove the Mic and try the keyboard. if it work solder it back.
In case did not work you have to remove some varistors from the keyboard area.
I don't have a picture of that phone to tell you which one exactly.

there are some varistor located near the keypad led,and some at the back ,just remove the varistors and your keypad wuld be working fine, ill try to upload the picture for you

it's work for me
