I checked there are many phones that can test it in this way
I have a 05W46 that have the same problem like that and maybe we can use this method on it
I will post my test results tommorow morning
please lead, any other same documents about w550 bluetooth problem?

Just a heads up, I reckon users of Safari 2.0.3 (Apple's web browser based on KHTML for OSX) face problems d/ling the attachments (i.e. login cycle), despite logging in. Please someone fwd this to the admins.

thanks lead but i have one question for you?
i get last update for W800 by SEUS and everything OK, but some time phone hang when i turn off blue tooth for few second but it turn off finally,
therefore i must do this method or not??
I don't think this is intended to be performed by the end user. Besides it does describe somewhere in the document that the shielding needs to be replaced with a new one..What if you don't have access to one (being just on the consumer part of things that it). I suppose the affected handsets need to be handed in at a local SE service point for this remedial procedure to take place.

That's true, but it puts to rest the "I flashed it now it doesn't work!!!" type postings, when they can be shown this is not a Cruiser problem but an actual hardware problem.
Plus of a lot of people here are very skilled at this sort of thing, you could argue that Cruiser itself is not ment for "end users" ;)
My K750i is W42 but still has the bluetooth problem. Do you think this solution works?

I've opened my phone, but the two resistors that have to be removed aren't there... But still have the BT problem...
For all I know mine is 05W48, and I also experience BT hangs and freezes at times...

( Level 3 - Schematics ) for SonyEricsson phones that would be very nice.
Specially for the new models, K750m W900, W550, K600 ...

About the BT problem , does anyone knows where to find 1M Ohm
resistor.
If anyone has level 3 schematics for SE phones that may help
if we can find it in the early models ( T610 - T300 - T68 - ...etc )

To fix this problem you need to remove two resistors (R3224 & R3261) and mount four capacitors (C3251-C3254) and a resistor (R3224) with a higher value on the Primary Side of the ROA.
R3224 – exchange to 1 ohm resistör
R3261 – Remove
C3251 – RJC5163526/1) Plug
C3252 – (RJC5163526/1) Plug
C3253 – (RJC5163526/1) Plug
C3254 – (RJC5163526/1) Plug
R3224 – (REP622457/1 1.0Mohm) Plug
So how find this Capasitors ? which boards have this ?

what about the other devices which not included in the report is there any thing to fix them as i have one w800i wich have problem in the bluetooth when i want to turn it off it hung ????????

I have experienced the same problem and through several tests
I Replaced R3224 with 3.3M Ohm resistance ( took from nokia 6630 )
and the phone is now working very well and never hangs when turning the BT ON/OFF

after my Experinence in this problem i Mean the bluetooth hange the slove this problem not in Software that is hardware

Dear experties,
I have exchange R3224 to 1M ohm resistör.
After this proccess,
When I switch on the phone the phone has powered on and got stucked
then the display went to blank white color.
After that I have remove the battery and put it again.
But no luck the phone cannot power on.
Now I have remove the resistor and try to power on, still cannot power on.
And it's not connecting with USB-Smart also :confused: .
Please help me to find out the fault, and shoud have to return back the phone with working condition to customer ASAP.
Hope to hear the good advise from members.

Same problem here with the bluetooth. Mine is 05W42 I found a very annoying way to make the bluetooth working, but it works.
Everytime you enable your bluetooth, just go to visibility in the bluetooth menu and even if your bluetooth setup is default in "show phone", re-enable it and it will hang for 3 to 5 seconds (which is not normal), then try to recieve/send via bluetooth. This thing works for me, but it really annoys me everytime I will use that deym bluetooth.
I don't want to bring my phone to SE center just to replace the resistors etc. My reason is, I can trasfer files from PC to phone or phone to PC, so, that wont be necessary for me to use bluetooth always.

i have a w800i with bluetooth problem. I guess the signal of bluetooth is weak.. when I close my phone to the a bluetooth device it works fine but when I move it away, even for 10cm it cannot be found or find no device..

Check if the BT antenna ( small metal on the side ) is in its place.

In my experience, just add R3261 only. All phones I've repaired Ok !
after that my K750 with 06W08 works good! just add R3261, it's value is 0

My K750i bluetooth have gotten worst when I change the case to the W800i... now my bluetooth range is like 6".. vs 3'.... what happen..........
