1.-To download you have to scroll down the window at rapidshare and select "free".
2.-Tested on my own AT&T/Cingular Treo and it worked.
3.-Be sure to read thoroughly instructions and test log or testimonial (both included in the package) from start to end before doing anything.

Not for IMEI change, it's just a tricky update to 1.23 then to 1.28 that eliminates locks, converts the 650 from a locked AT&T/Cingular Treo to a Unlocked branded Treo

It will not open simlocks
It only changes your firmware from branded to unbranded("unlocked")
The reason it is referred to as unlocked, is it unlocks some extra features or applications which some companies hide in their firmware, but I can assure any of you thinking of trying it, it will not take away your sim lock

It will remove simlock, only on US Treo 650 (At&t/Cingular) I've been very specific about this on all my posts.

Did you use the file provided in the package? Or did you use the one provided at Palm.com? Remember that we're taking advantage of a glitch in the version provided with the package, if you use the Palm downloaded file it will probably have that glitch corrected.
But if you have a 1.23 unlocked Treo, I would recomend you settle with that.

If you are having problems with the update from 1.23 to 1.28 you should check this. (http://www.palm.com/us/support/downloads/treo650updater/unlockedgsm.html)

tested on 2 x cingular treo 650, not working. don´t want to debrand, want to unlock sp locks, just glad I have a tool for that.

explain yourself. did u test your cingular phone with a non-cingular sim card, and got the provider lock, and did this procedure, and then worked with non-cingular card? really? are u sure?

its fake solution.not tested it but sure it wont work to unlock a treo 650 either from at&t or any other network. only solution is jic online and some other hardware boxs.

don´t tell lies here, this "solution" cannot unlock network lock in treo 650, and that´s a fact, no matter what you think. what it does, it´s decustomize phone, "unlocking" some functions, nothing else.

sure it´s dead... check thread date, it´s more than 2 years old. and again, it DOES NOT remove simlock, this is only for debrand phone. still today there´s no free solution for sim unlocking treo 650.

you must to have ns pro box and active internet connection. instaleed hot sync, active sync and when unlocking - enter phone in boot loader - 3 color mode :D
