Just try to disconnect/connect dongle back and try to reboot PC.
try to insert dongle in other USB slot.
don't use USB-hub.
waiting for your results.

I had the same problem only on my laptop. SETools, and Infinity on it were hopeless. Bought a good quality USB2 hub (PCMCIA) and never had a problem since.
