i have it. it needs the activation key that i dont have, but the program works if we say that we want to registrate it later, but the program crash after a couple of minutes. i´m using the mobile map, not the map that they say that comes with it. send me a message if someone want to try it

MOBILE7 MAPS ARE SAME WITH NAVIGATE7 MAPS

gsmsupport..thanks for all, but i dont understand a thing. how can u tell me that he maps are the same ? In the site of Route 66 for example ...for Iberica Map, for the mobile version they say that the version is Navteq (Q3-2005) and for the Navigate version is the (Q4-2005) version. In the Q3 for Portugal is 43% of coverage and in the Q4 is 97%

Great stuff,

it's a really good navigation solution. I installed the soft on my Yakumo Delta 300. Works great. looks like tom tom but better performance. Could you please upload the GreatBritain & Ireland-Map ( GBRIRL.prm ) to rapidshare.

This is latest version patched from the german site listed above. Its working well for me.

I'm gonna have a go at uploading the new UK maps to rapid share. Its damn slow but there in alt.binaries.warez.pocketpc.gps if anyone wants them fast.

I got the map from Mobile 7 rather than the PPC edition. Just noticed the differences on the web site myself.

Tho to be honest I live in N.Ireland and haven't been able to go off the map with them yet. They even have my street on it and these houses have only been up a year.

I have downloaded this two files and put them in my SD card \program files\Route66 and i get error "One or more requiered files cannot be found. Please reinstall the aplication" :rolleyes:

I have installed and ran this and here is my review:

Pros:

Very nice layount and easy to use.

instalation is extremelly easy since it automatically detects your paired gps device.

Trafic updates are free of charge (except for your gprs connection)

Can navigate directly to the contacts on my outlook list from within the software (very usefull and not found on t0mt0m).

Cons:

No FULL post code search (only 4 digit)... this is a big let down

Search engine for looking up and adresses to navigate to works well but this is still dependant on peoples judgement on input ability which could lead to a tedious and lengthy lookup.

No screen rotation option from witin the software for panoramic view...another let down.

Other lack of options are: unable to set soft keyboard layout (i like QWERTY)

I tested this on my xda exec (jasjar, mda pro, spv m5000, etc) and also the big let down there was that the hardware buttons did not work such as keyboard input and zoom and volume options!

Although as it stands this would not drag me away from tomtom by a long shot its still much better than other competing navigation sftware out there.

I dont think current t0mt0m users will swap it for this since it is not as far advanced and compete as far as the pda system goes althoug this could whell be a good contender on the mobile (symbian alike )side of it since not so many otions are required.

i'v downloaded the babes crack version of navigate 7. and i copy the sd folder to root of my sd card, insert to my ppc2003. it installs and runs automaticlly, and it shows "null string".then i copy cracked file into ppc's program folder, and it replace the old one, but it shows "null string" again:mad:

I downloaded the rar from post #11 on page 1, copied all the files to the root of my CF card, executed from there but I get the message saying that "there are some files missing". Hi,
how I can upgrade Route 66 without enclosed backup CD-DVD ? I have a GPS receiver RAC Satnav 110, but there was no backup CD/DVD only a software+map on SD card. Receiver has a USB, but I don't have drivers for winXP. When I copy a upgrade on SD card, it doesn't works. :confused: Please help me. (Sorry for my english)
