For 228 313 and 616: You can use Nexus with COM rs232 cable or Nec Code reader with modded usb cable ( You can modify your original USB cable, yes, the one that come with the phone )

Thanks Bypx for talking about this point but you have to put in mind you are in Europe and some countries NEC E338 It's a new technology for them :)

Hi, the 616v don't have the PCS 1900mhz band. So you can't use it in the Usa and Canada. Br

I read on some site that this guy ( lives in Canada) had same problem and posted that he apparently got the phone working by master reseting the phone using some software (NEC) and a cable. I like to give that a shot but i dont know how to reset the phone nor where to get that NEC software.
BTW the code *73738# doesnt work on my phone.

Succesfully unlocked NEC e338 don't work with T-mobile sim card, all others that i tried working ok, full reseted with NEC TOOL 2.2 a and IMEI repaired with Crassy 5.

Secondly, i have Nec E606 that displays battery sign (top of screen) and the two buttons at the bottom left and right of screen shaded. All buttons working. i gave my nec 338(three network) to unlock one unlocking shop, thn they return me freeze mobile and told me can't unlcok.told thm to fix my phone thn they take it again and return it ok but not unlocked.come back home thn realized can't call....call has been disconect....thn go back their shop and use their sim n worked n use my sim n work. thn come back home but not worked.now i find my mobile working only that area where the shop is. thn i find ur website n unlock my self using ur softawere NEXUS. its unlocked , but still can't call exept orange network(but not all sim,only 1 sim work).....any help?

Limatima,

Try reset everything under setting menu. When phone as for code enter 0000 and phone will reset to factory default and all user data in phone will be lost. Then you can now use your phone normally. Email me: elgoddeyson@yahoo.co.uk or call 2348033338886 for further information.
