338 V04 freezes

Using the search on this forum, i downloaded the ver 4 to 3 downgrader, and the nexus soft.

Downgrading the phone i keep getting an error right at the end (50%) ACPU ROM Check error, and a box pops up saying:

There was NG: ACPU, COM8, DE00, ACPU PRGM CODE, 00020000, 01DFFFFF, 0000

The phone freezes on the NEC logo, and the nexus software cannot see the phone. Before flashing the Nexus software did see the phone, so i know all cables are ok etc.

Please help, customer is doing my head in!!

Try to flash the phone again! Sometimes happens that the flashing process stops with check errors, but after this with nexus you can reset the eeprom and everything goes ok.. because in fact the phone get completely flashed also with errors.
Check your rs232 com cable and 9v battery, maybe the phone isn't the cause coz nexus can't work properly

Thanks for the reply, i found the problem now. The flashing problem was caused by a setting in the flashers ini file - and nexus wouldnt work because the socket on the phone is damaged and not connecting properly. All i got to do now is find someone to change the socket on the phone and all should be well!
