I have an HP zt3380 with an integrated HP bluetooth adapter. For quite some time I've loaded the Widcomm bluetooth stack however with the latest v5 of Widcomm I got fed up with occasional issues with my bluetooth mouse freezing. So I decided to explore loading the Microsoft XP SP2 supplied bluetooth stack. Unfortunately my integrated adapter wouldn't load the Microsoft stack so I ended up creating a modified version of the Microsoft stack .inf file in order to load the stack on my HP integrated bluetooth device. The Microsoft stack loads fine now.
Anyway, I have posted the updated .inf driver file. If you would like to use it simply uninstall your existing bluetooth stack, reboot, and when prompted for the driver for your bluetooth device point it to this updated .inf file. If your PID is in the file it will load the Microsoft bluetooth stack. I took the PID's from the latest Widcomm distribution and put them in this file so it should support most of the devices on the market. I know it works with mine that has a CSR radio.
