I have tried an ISSC Horus BT Module and WIDCOMM v5.0.1.1200. Works OK. Mine came with the default drivers, but if you don't have the CD, just use the generic btwusb.inf that contains all the VID & PID of majority of dongle manufacturers. Then apply the "magic" to make it work. :D Working 1000000% Tried and tested. I'm not happy with the dongle though coz it's v1.0 Class 2 junk, but it's not WIDCOMM's default.

I am also using the same dongle as you, ISSC but does not seem to be able to make it work. I have been working on it for the past 3 days and have installed and uninstalled it with different driver and version of the software for > 20 times but still not luck - it always shown no Bluetooth device. I am using the driver from the CD, the Windows is able to recognized the dongle but not the Widcomm software. Are you able to share what driver are you using?
Thanks in advance.

I see you got the "magic" working right for you :D Waiting for the next build of v5.x... :D These WIDCOMM stacks keep getting better and better by the version.
